This trip was unexpected. I booked a tour during the "Amazing Thailand Tourism Festival" and got a great deal on diving and a hotel. It reminded me of the time I worked with my father here. Let's start our journey together. We flew from Don Mueang to Phuket in the morning and were picked up by a car to take us to the hotel.

The hotel we stayed at was pretty decent, located near Patong Beach. Upon arrival, we immediately searched for the cheapest eatery. Let's just say things were a bit pricey. We bumped into a contractor who seemed to be a local, so we asked for recommendations. He suggested a place that was both delicious and affordable. We ended up having two meals there. Afterwards, we decided to take a stroll along Patong Beach. Wow, it was packed with tourists! We couldn't help but wonder where all the Thai people were.

The rain started to fall lightly, so we went to our accommodation and ordered drinks to enjoy a poolside party. It was a different kind of vibe, haha. In the early evening, I called Rung, a classmate, who was kind enough to give us a tour. He took us to a great, affordable restaurant. We then asked to visit another place where we had the opportunity to work on this project: the Sino-Portuguese Bank of Ayudhya. However, it was a bit of a shame that there were so many power and telephone lines around, haha.

After finishing, we went back because my younger sibling had to continue working. In the morning, we had to go to Surin Islands, Phang Nga Province.

The next morning, the van driver called, prompting me to jump out of bed and quickly prepare my belongings for the onward journey. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a massive crowd of Thai and foreign tourists, all heading to different islands. Before boarding the boat, I popped a motion sickness pill to avoid any potential discomfort. The two-hour journey to Surin Island was quite tiring, but the crystal-clear water teeming with fish made it all worthwhile. Our first stop was the Moken village.

After a while, we went diving at the first spot. The guide told us that it was the most beautiful spot. After diving, we went to Surin Islands National Park for lunch.

After a satisfying meal, we wasted no time in diving to the second and third spots. It's important to note that we didn't rent a camera, but those images are etched in our memories forever. Most importantly, nature is always beautiful if we work together to protect it.

After completing three dives, it was time to return. The journey back to the pier took two hours, followed by another two hours of travel to our accommodation. Upon arrival, we showered and prepared for our next adventure. A friend had suggested visiting Soi Bangla in Phuket, but I had no idea what it was. When we arrived, it was like stepping into Pattaya, with a large number of foreigners.

Exhausted after the walk, my body is about to give out. I'd better go to sleep as I have tasks to complete tomorrow morning.

The last morning, we woke up a little late and had breakfast at the hotel. After filling our stomachs, we packed our bags, checked out, and rented a motorbike. However, renting a motorbike here was incredibly difficult. They told us they didn't usually rent to Thai people. We don't know if that's true, but we walked around and couldn't find any shops that would rent to us. Finally, we went to a shop next to our hotel that we had spoken to earlier. They agreed to rent us a motorbike because we were staying at their hotel. Luckily, we got the motorbike, but then it started raining, so we had to wait for a while until it stopped.

Once the rain stopped, we continued our journey to Baan Teelanka. When we arrived, we were disappointed and decided not to pay the entrance fee. Instead, we headed to Wat Chaloem to pray.

After worshipping the Buddha, I had to find food quickly because I hadn't eaten lunch yet. But the next stop was Laem Phromthep, which I had to visit at least once. So I continued driving and stopped at a restaurant when I saw one. I found a boat noodle shop and decided to try it. The taste was amazing, and the price was affordable. The shop's name is "Kway Teow Reua 4 Phraya," conveniently located on the way to Laem Phromthep. After I was full, I continued driving until I finally arrived. Wow!

The camera battery died just as I was about to take a picture. I could have cried! My phone battery was full, but the problem was that the sun was setting and the light was perfect.

The experience was truly classic, with a large crowd and countless opportunities to capture stunning photographs. As darkness fell, we embarked on our return journey, returning the rental car and showering at the hotel, where the staff kindly accommodated our request. Shortly thereafter, a vehicle arrived to transport us to the airport, marking the successful completion of our mission.

This trip is another one we're reviewing. In short, nature is always beautiful, but we need to work together to preserve it so that future generations can enjoy it. Thank you for reading.

See you on the next trip, Kanya.
