Additionally, a well-equipped fitness center and a traditional Japanese sauna cater to guests' wellness needs.
With its prime location, diverse amenities, and luxurious accommodations, Unimman Chiang Mai promises an unforgettable stay in the vibrant city of Chiang Mai.
Many people wonder why they should visit Chiang Mai during the hot season, as the common perception is that Chiang Mai is best enjoyed during the cool winter months.
Although this is not the winter season, our trip was just as enjoyable. We had a blast playing Songkran and immersing ourselves in the festive atmosphere. It was a truly international experience, with people from Thailand, Europe, Japan, and Korea all joining in the fun.
Our journey began with an exhilarating drive from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, covering the distance in approximately 8-10 hours. In no time at all, we arrived in the vibrant city of Chiang Mai.
No need to wait, let's check into the hotel right away! Because at this hotel, you can check in anytime you want, no need to wait until 2 pm like other places. Plus, if you check in at a certain time, you can also check out at the same time. ..... !!!! Isn't that great?
Let's go! Let me show you the hotel and see how inviting the atmosphere is. I can tell you that you won't be disappointed if you go.
The festive atmosphere of Songkran is already palpable as we begin our journey at the hotel's entrance.
The beautifully decorated lobby offers a variety of seating areas for guests to relax and enjoy.
It also has a small, cute lobby.
Behind the lobby bar, a small gallery recounts the history of the hotel when it was still the Rin Kham Hotel, which has a rich history.
The most suitable option would be a beautifully decorated dining room.
In addition to the indoor dining area, there is also an outdoor area where you can relax and choose a seat to your liking. After walking around, I'm hungry, so let's find something to eat.
Another picture with the outdoor dining atmosphere before heading to the room for a bit.
It's time to go to your rooms.
The door opens to reveal a spacious room with an inviting bed. Let's explore what's inside.
The room we booked was a double room, but the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable.
In addition to the excellent service, the establishment also prioritizes culinary experiences. As a testament to their commitment, they provide a welcoming gesture of fresh fruits upon arrival, leaving a lasting impression on guests.
It also has a seating area and a workspace.
His design is perfectly balanced, with every element beautifully arranged for simplicity and convenience.
The refrigerator is full of food.
The bathroom is separated into a shower room and a toilet room.
Naja Shower Room
The bedroom is about this size, but wait, I haven't finished looking around yet. I haven't been to the swimming pool, the fitness room, or the sauna, but looking at the time, it's time for dinner. Let's go find something to eat.
Here's a midnight fried chicken stall, but it doesn't open at midnight. It opens in the late afternoon. Most importantly, it's very close to the hotel. It's a very popular place.
The best way to eat it is with sticky rice. It's so good!
You can tell how good it is by the number of people there. It's always packed.
It's a perfect way to end the first day of my trip. Now it's time to sleep and get ready for tomorrow. I'll take you to see, experience, and taste more things. This hotel has a lot to offer.
Good morning, Happy Songkran! Before we head out to explore the world, let's fuel up with some delicious food.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
There is so much food here. What should I eat? There are so many options.
There is also bread.
Steamed buns are coming. There are still many more.
As previously mentioned, for those who prefer not to dine in the restaurant, room service is available, offering excellent service directly to your bedside.
When in the north, one must indulge in northern cuisine. So, here's some sai ua with sticky rice.
I'm full after eating. Let me peek downstairs and see what they're up to. Haha.
Before we head out for more sightseeing, let's take a quick walk around the hotel.
The rooftop pool at Ploenchit Fair offers stunning views while you swim, making it an unparalleled experience.
There is a bar where you can order food.
Let's take a look from a bird's-eye view.
Lost track of time playing games, we should head out for our next adventure soon, right?
Our favorite tourist spot is actually a food stall. 55+ A plate of papaya salad is so delicious!
The delicious oranges we're enjoying come from this restaurant, which has multiple locations, including one near the hotel.
After a savory meal, it's time for something sweet. NO.39 is the perfect spot, a charming little cafe with live music and plenty of cozy nooks to relax in.
Time is running out, one shop is not enough, let's go to the next shop.
Let's come to this shop, the owner is lovely 55+.
It's a newly opened shop, the atmosphere is simple and very suitable for relaxation.
My favorite green tea.
And from eating a lot, I have to melt some fat away, so the blood will circulate well by baking a sauna at the hotel. They have a Japanese-style sauna room, but to be truly Japanese, you may have to take off your clothes, but we Thais will do it like this 55+.
In addition to the sauna room and swimming pool, there is also a fitness room for you to exercise to your heart's content.
Let's continue to the swimming pool to watch other people play in the water. Plus, at MAYA mall, there is a very fun water party.
Let's bring the atmosphere with you. You don't have to pay to enter the event, and we can have fun with them 55+.
The swimming pool in the evening is also beautiful in another way.
Today ends with enjoying watching people play in the water and listening to music from the party. Waking up on the last day at U Nimmam Chiang Mai, we started the activity by eating and preparing to ride a bicycle to play Songkran.
Ready to go, camera ready, let's borrow a bike.
No need to borrow from anywhere else, borrow from our hotel. They offer free loans.
It's time to go swimming.
The atmosphere was incredibly lively and enjoyable.
Thais are kind-hearted.
We cycled all the way to Tha Pae Gate. It's actually not that far from the hotel, haha!
It was time to check out, but before leaving, I wanted to grab a light bite. Looking at what I ordered, it was definitely light! 55+
Despite having already eaten our fill, the abundance of enticing eateries near the hotel prompted us to indulge in a few more bites and photo opportunities before continuing our journey.
Our first stop is this restaurant, which my friend has been wanting to visit. It's located across the street from our hotel and is owned by a famous celebrity with a prominent nose, whom you all know. You know, the one who can talk for hours on end. Ring a bell? 55+
Do you recognize the dessert plate?
Let's take a look around the shop.
Not satisfied with just one shop, let's move on to the second one. This shop has delicious coffee with a fragrant aroma that can be smelled from afar. However, if you are coming from the hotel, walk to the left of the hotel and keep walking until you find a small shop. It's easy to spot, as there will be a lot of foreigners.
What kind of coffee? It's both fragrant and beautiful, and it's delicious.
And now, we're on to the next restaurant. But before we get there, let me tell you that there are actually a ton of restaurants to choose from near the hotel. Like, a lot. What we're showing you here is just a small fraction of what's available. Anyway, let's move on to restaurant number 3.
This restaurant is super proud of its simple but delicious menu, featuring instant noodles with an egg. Yes, really! The name of the restaurant is on the edge of the plate, by the way.
The roti is also super delicious.
Just these 3 dishes were enough to make our stomachs burst, and it was finally time to hit the road. But before we did, we had to squeeze in one more restaurant that a friend recommended.
This place might be a little outside the city, but the desserts are huge and delicious.
It's a small, cute little shop.
The cheese balls are super cheesy, with cheese that stretches for miles.
And this is the dish we're most proud of recommending because it's not too sweet, there's a lot of variety, and the design is beautiful. We're in love! And so, the feast had to come to an end. It was time to head back to Bangkok.
This was my first Songkran festival in Chiang Mai, and it was an unforgettable experience. I was particularly impressed by the U Nimmam Chiang Mai hotel, where the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Every place and every person I encountered contributed to making this trip truly special.
