Hello, today Bestie Wanderer will take you to **enjoy a million-dollar view at a hundred-dollar price** at the Hilton Pattaya hotel. It's not far from Bangkok. You can drive yourself or take a van. Plus, you'll get to relax and unwind from the fatigue with a breathtaking sea view that will make you want to stop time right here!
Hilton Pattaya
A few days ago, my friends and I took a day trip to Pattaya. Even though it was not our first time visiting, we were still excited to find new places to eat and drink. The highlight of our trip was dining at Drift, a restaurant in the Hilton Pattaya hotel that offers stunning 180-degree views of the ocean. It's one of the best spots in Pattaya to watch the sunset! And the best part is that even if you're not staying at the hotel, you can still enjoy the food and drinks at Drift. The hotel welcomes outside guests.
Drift is a restaurant located on the 16th floor of the Hilton Pattaya Hotel, which is in the same building as Central Festival Pattaya. Guests can park their cars on the 2nd floor of the hotel's parking lot.
Upon entering the restaurant, guests will encounter an indoor air-conditioned zone and an outdoor open-air zone. The outdoor zone offers stunning sea views and a refreshing breeze, perfect for those who enjoy the scenery and are not afraid of the heat.
The cocktail menu we tried started at 270 baht per glass (including service charge and tax), and beers were around 200 baht per bottle. The menu also included a variety of wines, but the prices were quite high, so we didn't try any. For those who don't drink alcohol, there were also various fruit smoothies, mocktails, and cakes available.
The glass on the left is a special Batida de Drift cocktail, a signature drink of the hotel. The glass on the right is a lychee martini. Both drinks cost 270 baht each and come with complimentary peanuts.
The Drift Batida is a refreshing cocktail made with premium Havana rum, passion fruit, marmalade, and lemon and orange zest. Its tangy and bubbly flavor is perfect for a hot day. Highly recommended!
Sipping a drink while enjoying a 180-degree view of the vast ocean, with the gentle sea breeze blowing, is a small pleasure that is difficult to describe.
The view on the right-hand side consists of various hotels lined up next to each other.
For those who are sitting in the indoor zone, you can still see the view because it is surrounded by clear glass.
The sunset view was on our left side, with no buildings blocking it at all. However, that day, the clouds were blocking it! 55555
As a group of female friends, we couldn't help but feel envious of the many sweet couples who were enjoying their romantic outings.
After a long while of chatting and relaxing, the sun began to set beautifully over the horizon. Following this, many guests started to settle their bills and head home. After sunset, the Drift restaurant became much less crowded.
Today, we, Bestie Wanderer, a pair of globetrotters, bid farewell with the sunset in Pattaya. In the future, we will take you on adventures, food explorations, and journeys to various corners of the world. Don't forget to follow our next review.
