This blog post will take you on a relaxing getaway near Bangkok. Originally, my partner and I planned to spend 3 days and 2 nights (April 9-11, 2017) in Pattaya. However, we decided to extend our trip by one day and find affordable accommodation for around 2,000 baht per night. After searching online, we couldn't find any appealing options within our budget. While driving on the expressway to Pattaya, we stumbled upon Villa Villa Pattaya and immediately booked a room. This spontaneous decision turned our trip into another adventure.
Villa Villa Pattaya: A Budget-Friendly Option
Villa Villa Pattaya is located on the hillside, away from the beach. It's situated in an area called Khao Talo, which requires a longer drive to reach.
When inquiring about room availability for April 8th, the hotel staff informed Jaja that only two room types were available: In Love Sky (6,000 baht) and Pool Villa (price undisclosed). Upon checking the In Love Sky app, Jaja discovered the same room type for only 5,000 baht. Consequently, she opted to book through the app.
For budget-conscious travelers, Villa Villa Pattaya offers rooms starting from around 3,000 baht, making it a more affordable option compared to the quoted price of 6,000 baht.
Let's take a look at the room where Ja Ja is staying, the In Love Sky room.
The room has two balconies, one on each side. The other side has chairs like this.
The room is 86 square meters and has a swimming pool view.
The ceiling above the bed.
Tea, coffee, and free water (2 bottles included).
The bathroom and bedroom are not separated by a solid door, but rather a sliding curtain. This means that the bathroom is not completely private. There is a bathtub on the right-hand side, and bath foam is provided for your enjoyment.
On the left-hand side is a clothes rack and a storage area for bags. This is a small corner. The next room is the bathroom, which has a clear glass door.
There is also an outdoor shower. You can open the door and take a shower. If you take a shower outside at night, it's okay, but if you take a shower outside during the day when the sun is shining, I'll pass. It's too hot.
The view from the balcony overlooks the hotel's swimming pool.
We then went to sit and take some photos, but we didn't stay long because the April sun was really hot.
In the evening, my partner and I drove to a restaurant called "Delicious Corner" for dinner. We returned to our accommodation around 9 pm, and everything seemed quiet. We went for a short walk and took some photos.
The swimming pool is open until 8pm.
In the lobby area.
After entering the room to rest, Ja Ja opened the hot water and soaked in the tub, while her boyfriend fell fast asleep.
Breakfast is included in the room rate.
There are cereals, yogurt, and fresh milk.
White bread, whole wheat bread
Croissants and Danish pastries.
The menu includes eggs, sausages, and ham. You can order from the staff. There is also fried rice, noodles, and rice porridge.
Jaja said that the taste of the food was just okay, but it wasn't bad. There weren't many food options. The dining room had a lot of flies and gnats, which was quite annoying.

This place also has a spa, but I didn't use it because I had already booked a spa outside the accommodation. Hehe.
Overall, this place is decent. It's quite secluded and not close to Pattaya Beach, so it's not noisy. However, if you arrive at the accommodation at night, you might not want to go out much, as the path is a bit dark.
If you're looking for a quiet place to relax near Bangkok and enjoy a spa, you can give it a try.
