For this trip, we decided to go eat crab, eat shrimp, and watch hawks in Laem Sing District, Chanthaburi Province. We have agreed to stay at a homestay, .. Khlang Na Homestay ...

After a four-hour journey from Bangkok, we arrived at Khlang Na Homestay. The homestay charges 1,500 baht per person, which includes three meals: lunch and dinner on the day of arrival and breakfast the next day. The accommodation is in air-conditioned houses by the water, and activities for guests include bamboo rafting, hawk watching, and paddle boating within the homestay area. This price is considered very good value. Note: Guests must bring their own toiletries, including towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, mosquito repellent, and other personal items.

Left side: A platform for enjoying the atmosphere around the homestay, or you can sit and chat with a group of friends while sipping a cold drink. The atmosphere is very chill.

Right side: This is our accommodation, which can accommodate 4 people. The rooms are clean, have air conditioning, and private bathrooms.

After packing our bags, we started preparing our first meal. The first meal was lunch on the day we checked in, which was only available until 2:00 PM. So, if you plan to come here, you should plan your trip accordingly. Otherwise, you'll miss out on delicious food.

The menu may vary, but on this occasion, we enjoyed dishes such as fish fried in fish sauce, crab stir-fried with curry powder, sour curry with acacia pennata and shrimp, pork curry with Piper sarmentosum leaves, chili paste with crab eggs and boiled vegetables. The fruit was rambutan, which was plentiful and delicious. We were offered refills, but we felt we had already eaten a lot.

After lunch, we were feeling a bit sleepy, but we still had activities planned with the accommodation, which included watching hawks and riding a wet raft. So we found a corner to take some playful photos, and this is the boat that guests can paddle. However, I didn't paddle; I just used it as a location for taking pictures.

At the homestay's pond, crabs are also raised. Here, the owner of the homestay is catching crabs to prepare for our dinner.

Large crabs for us and dinner.

It's time for the activity! The accommodation is not far from the whitewater rafting area, but it's quite a tiring walk. Fortunately, there's a free shuttle service available, which is very convenient.

Here we are, the four of us, full and sleepy. But we're not giving up, if we can continue our activities. Go go!

Our journey begins with a small fishing boat that will tow us on a wet raft to the mouth of the river. Along the way, we will pass by mangrove trees and coastal forests. The air is cool and comfortable.

Our paper boats won't get wet unless you play with water, as the seats are quite high from the ground. Free drinking water is also provided.

I'm already wet, so I'll join in the "wet rafting" fun. But I won't play for long, as the others aren't interested in getting in the water. 555+

After a short boat ride, the uncle brought us to a pearl oyster farm. The owner kindly allowed us to visit the farm free of charge.

Let's take a picture together. Actually, I also have a picture with a hawk, but since the picture is too far away, there is no atmosphere to share. I'm so sorry.

The whitewater rafting and kite flying activity takes approximately 2 hours. Afterwards, you can return to your accommodation, shower, change clothes, and begin your second meal, which is dinner.

The food is as pictured. I was so full after eating that I didn't want to talk to anyone. It was definitely worth it. While eating, I also chatted with the uncle, which added to the experience. I forgot to mention that the restaurant offers free ice, soda, and plain water. I repeat, FREE. Except for alcoholic beverages, you need to bring your own soda.

Large crabs, large prawns, prawns soaked in fish sauce, fried fish cakes, black pepper prawns, fresh oysters. Oh! It was so delicious that we ate until we were full and satisfied. There were no further activities that night except for a good night's sleep. The next morning, we woke up to the sunrise in front of our accommodation.

Sipping coffee while basking in the morning sun.

Start your morning with a steaming bowl of seafood porridge, fragrant with shrimp and squid.

And the stir-fried Chanthaburi noodles, whose delicious taste lives up to its reputation as a specialty of Chanthaburi.

Before leaving, I had to capture some more memorable photos of this place.

If I have the opportunity, I will definitely come back to stay here again. This time, the atmosphere is amazing. .. Klang Na Homestay ..

On the way, we also stopped to take some pictures at the Taksin Maharat Bridge.

The air is fresh in the morning, there are not many people, and there are many angles to take pictures.

Upon arriving at the Nang Phaya Viewpoint, there were many tourists and parked cars. As a result, the view of the curved road was obstructed. However, I still captured some images since I had already arrived.

There are also padlocks like those in foreign countries.

After descending from the Nang Phaya viewpoint, we stopped to take photos near the red rocks.

The Immaculate Conception Cathedral is a popular tourist destination in Chanthaburi, Thailand. The cathedral is known for its beautiful architecture and its peaceful atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the cathedral's gardens, its stained glass windows, and its many statues. The cathedral is also a popular place for weddings and other special events.

We parked our car at the Immaculate Conception Church and walked across the street to explore the old town atmosphere at the riverside community of Chanthaburi.

This place has a lot of photogenic corners. It looks very chic and stylish. No matter which angle you choose, it will give you a classic feel. If you like this kind of photography, try to find an opportunity to visit. Even a one-day trip would be worth it.

As you stroll through the community, you'll encounter a variety of street food vendors. Be sure to try the renowned sweet shrimp, a local delicacy.

Rambutan is also available, priced at 35 baht per kilogram. It is inexpensive, looks fresh, clean, and very appetizing.

Even a simple house wall can serve as a stunning backdrop for your photographs.

The iron gate in front of the house can also be used as a photo prop. We can !!

See, Chanthaburi offers great opportunities all the time and is always ready to welcome everyone. If you have the chance, I highly recommend visiting. Chanthaburi has something for everyone to experience.
