To find this shop, it is located at the bridge's neck between Bang Kruai District/Hospital.

Arom D Cafe is a riverside cafe that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal while observing the way of life of people living along the canal.

This restaurant offers two seating areas: an open-air zone for enjoying the cool breeze and an air-conditioned room.

We met around noon and ordered a drink each with a small dessert. We just had a light snack.

Crispy and buttery.

The Oreo milk looks incredibly delicious.

If you sit by the river, you will see boats sailing back and forth.

The midday sun is quite strong, with very bright light. It's recommended to visit in the late afternoon when the sunlight is milder.

We then continued to Khlong Bang Luang Market, a small paradise in the city.

Traveling to the Khlong Bang Luang community can be done in two ways:

  • Soi Charan Sanitwong 3: This is the most convenient option.
  • Phet Kasem side: Enter from Wat Kuhasawan, at the end of Soi Phet Kasem 28. You can park your car at the temple and walk along the canal. Alternatively, park your car at Wat Kampaeng (Bang Chak), located at the end of Soi Phet Kasem 20. Turn left and walk along the canal, following a small path that leads to a bridge. I entered through Soi Charan Sanitwong 3, which is the most convenient option.

We traveled from Alomdee Cafe, which is not far from here. We took the Bang Kruai route, cut across Borommaratchachonnani Road, and then made a U-turn.

Head towards Ratchaphruek Road, coordinates 13°43'48. 100°27'50. Enter through Soi Ratchaphruek 6 and head towards Wat Kamphaeng. Parking is available at Wat Kamphaeng (Bangchak). The entrance is a narrow community alley with clear signage, so there's no need to worry about getting lost. Once you reach Wat Kamphaeng, walk along the canal for a short distance and you will find the artist's house.

This is a place where you can relax, let go of your worries, and find a place to sit and enjoy the view. You can also relax and enjoy the artwork.

A cool breeze blows across my face as I sit feeding fish by the water's edge.

This sentence describes the opportunity to see a unique Thai performance, the "hun lakhon lek" puppet show, which is rarely seen today, free of charge.

The performance takes place every afternoon at two o'clock. There is a donation box available for contributions. A group of foreign tourists came to watch the performance.

Today, we witnessed the episode of Hanuman and Macchanu, the son of Hanuman and Nang Suphannamatcha.

The performance was quite casual, with subtle hints of humor interspersed throughout.

After the game ended, everyone was invited to take a picture, so I took one too.

After watching the show, relax and chill out.

The artist's home features a cozy reading nook with beautiful postcards, art prints, and various art-related souvenirs. Freshly brewed coffee, rice curry, and sago dumplings filled with pork are also available.

Delicious and affordable, priced for the locals.

The artist's house has two floors. The lower floor serves as a souvenir shop and a relaxation area where visitors can enjoy refreshments.

A space for children to create art.

The second floor will be a gallery showcasing photographs available for purchase.

Small puppets are on display for viewing.

A must-visit spot for photo opportunities. A striking landmark visible to those arriving by boat.

Remarkably, an ancient pagoda stands in the center of the house.

As we sat by the river, long-tailed boats carrying tourists sailed past almost all day long, almost every minute.

The charm and allure of this place are undeniable. Many people on the boat smiled and waved to those on the shore, creating a truly heartwarming scene.

We spent a considerable amount of time exploring the area, strolling through the scenic paths, and relaxing by the waterfront, enjoying the view and feeding the fish. The fresh air and tranquil atmosphere provided a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

It's time to go home. This community is just a small community with short walking distances. It can be considered a small paradise in the city, not too far away.
