May and June mark the arrival of the fruit season, a time eagerly awaited by many who relish the opportunity to savor seasonal fruits.
The highlight is undoubtedly the "durian," the king of Thai fruits.
With its exorbitant price, no matter how much you eat, it never seems enough. Every time, my wallet feels the pinch. Therefore, I seek out all-you-can-eat options.
Taking this opportunity to relax and unwind, I chose to visit Suan Yai Da, a garden known for its tranquility and lack of large crowds, especially Chinese tour groups.
Most importantly, they don't hoard the durians, allowing us to choose the ones we want to eat. As for accommodation, we'd like something affordable, clean, by the sea, and with breakfast included.
And most importantly, the best value for money is the "Kantary Bay Hotel Rayong".

The journey begins at 9:00 AM, allowing for lunch and fruit upon arrival. The first destination is Suan Yai Da, which is approximately a 3-hour drive. Google Maps provides accurate directions to ensure a smooth journey.
Upon arriving at the orchard in the early afternoon, we paid an entrance fee of 350 baht per person. This price included a buffet of durian, mangosteen, jackfruit, rambutan, papaya salad, sticky rice, and fried chicken.
The park offers nature trails and scenic photo spots for visitors to enjoy.
The main reasons I chose to visit Yaidao Garden are: 1) it is not crowded; 2) there are no Chinese tour groups; and 3) most importantly, they are not stingy with their durians, peeling them fresh for you.
And durian has both Mon Thong and Chanee. Choose as you like. Bring a basket to pick and eat.
Enjoying sticky rice, fried chicken, and papaya salad, followed by a generous serving of fruit, left me feeling pleasantly full.
The park offers a short walking path with various photo opportunities.
Dogs are allowed in the park.
He walked back to the original spot and ordered another basket. They had a wonderful time.
Around 3 pm, my daughter started to get sleepy, so we decided to check into our hotel. We will be staying at the Kantary Bay Rayong tonight. The hotel is located right on the beach, just across the street. It's perfect for taking my daughter to play in the ocean.
Today, we were assigned a one-bedroom suite. The corner unit boasts a balcony offering stunning 180-degree ocean views.
The living room features a comfortable sofa for watching TV and enjoying the sea view, accommodating three people (father, mother, and child). The dining table is located within the same space.
The spacious room features a cooking area with a gas stove, refrigerator, and a washing machine, which my wife particularly appreciates.
The interior features a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom includes a bathtub for a relaxing soak.
In the evening, the daughter woke up. It was time for the children to play in the water. There are two swimming pools here. The front pool is suitable for adults and is quite deep.
The poolside features a fitness center for your workout needs, complete with an in-house sauna for relaxation.
We played at the second pool, which is located behind the hotel. Before reaching the pool, there is a bowling alley available for hotel guests at an affordable price.
Next, there are ping pong tables, snooker tables, and tennis courts. This place truly offers a wide variety of activities.
The daughter couldn't wait any longer and wanted to play in the water. This pool is perfect for children.
It's time to go upstairs, take a shower, change clothes, and come down for dinner. My daughter complained that she was hungry because she played in the water a lot. We had dinner at the hotel, at the Italian restaurant 43.
The cuisine will primarily focus on Italian dishes, but it will also include a selection of Japanese and Thai options. All cuisines are of exceptional quality and flavor.
The father, mother, and daughter each ordered a different dish. The daughter had spaghetti, the wife had tom yum soup with grilled fish in soy sauce, and the husband had a dish that was not specified.
I ordered steak, and everyone got to eat what they liked. I think this is a great way to address this issue.
After a satisfying meal, take a leisurely stroll along the beachfront. Restaurants and bars are readily available, but their prices are comparable to those within the hotel. Dining at the hotel offers better value for money.
Let's head back to our rooms and relax after a delicious walk.
My daughter went to bed with my wife, while I went out to enjoy the night atmosphere of Haad Saeng Chan. Tonight, I'll leave you with this picture. Good night.
Good morning, everyone! I woke up early today and went down to the same restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with a wide variety of delicious and high-quality options. The focus was on Thai cuisine, but there was also an egg station and a selection of bacon and ham.
However, my personal favorite is the "Khai Gata," a traditional Thai dish consisting of fried eggs served in a hot pan with various toppings.
The morning atmosphere was cool and pleasant. After breakfast, I took my daughter to play with toys in front of the hotel.
Let's take a look at the different types of rooms available at this location. Starting with the two-bedroom suite, the price for the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) starts at around 3,000 baht, which is considered very reasonable. For a four-person stay, the room is very spacious, allowing for ample room to play hide-and-seek.
The amenities are similar to a one-bedroom suite, with the addition of a double bedroom and an extra bathroom.
Next is the studio room, the starting point of this place. Opening the door, you will find a kitchen area and a large refrigerator.
This room does not have a washing machine. The room is not small, and three people can live comfortably in it.
It's almost noon, time to pack up and head home. Before we leave, let's grab lunch at Kantary Cafe, located right on Sukhumvit Road.
The interior is decorated in white, creating a beautiful and serene atmosphere. The spacious layout and abundant natural light contribute to a sense of openness and comfort.
The restaurant offers a variety of savory and sweet dishes, as well as beverages such as tea, coffee, and freshly blended fruit juices.
The menu offers a decent selection of colorful and visually appealing desserts.
The restaurant generously provided a wide variety of savory dishes for tasting.
The pizza was delicious, my wife loved the gorgonzola, and my daughter was thrilled with the carbonara.
This restaurant is highly recommended for anyone visiting Rayong. The quality and price are excellent, making it a great value for money.
And if you can't finish it, you can take it home.
The joy of eating is abundant, with both the fruit buffet at Kantary Cafe and the excellent accommodations at Katary Bay Rayong, providing a relaxing getaway for the whole family.
We had a great time doing activities together on this trip. Hello!
