Calling all adventure seekers! 🏞️
If you're planning a trip to the stunning Cheow Lan Dam, look no further! 🚣♀️
Join us as we embark on a budget-friendly adventure to Klong Ka Floating Hut. 🏕️
Get ready to immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere and create unforgettable memories. ✨
Pa Kluay is a raft operated by the National Park.
The advantage is that the price is much cheaper than private rafts.
However, we have to rent a boat to get there ourselves. I must say that if you go with a large group, it will be much better.
Because there will be people to share the boat fare, we will actually pay a lot less.
The journey from the dam entrance to the floating raft takes almost an hour.
However, it doesn't feel long at all, as the scenery along the way is breathtaking.
The deeper we go, the smaller we feel, as the vastness of the area becomes increasingly apparent.
We arrived around noon, just in time for lunch.
The raft looked better than expected.
After putting our bags away, we went out to eat.
We had booked a package that included three meals a day.
Lunch was like this… and we devoured it.
Let's take a look at the rafts.
The raft we slept on was made of bamboo and had one fan, one electrical outlet, and shared bathroom facilities.
However, there are other types of rafts available, as shown in the pictures. If you are traveling with a large group, you can stay in a larger raft with a private bathroom.
Electricity is only available from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Most importantly, there is no phone signal. This is a good thing in our opinion.
As the sun began to set, people started to come out and jump into the water.
To be honest, I didn't think it would be this much fun at first.
But who knew, the highlight was definitely the jumping.
Jump, jump, jump...!!!
Exhausted from playing in the water, it's almost dusk.
Let's take a shower and then have dinner.
At the raft, the food is delicious and, most importantly, there's so much of it that you can't finish it no matter how much you eat!
The weather here is pleasantly cool during the day, not hot.
You can relax and sit outside on the raft.
I wonder if it was our good fortune that it rained early in the morning.
While I was sleeping, I heard the sound of rain and thought to myself that I would definitely get wet on the way back.
But soon the rain stopped. As I had planned to wake up and capture the morning atmosphere,
I woke up before everyone else. The first thing I saw when I opened the door was...
I want to scream out loud, can I stop time right here?
The big fog slowly drifted by, the camera memory will be full at this time, everyone.
Capture the moment and then enjoy breakfast.
The fog still lingers, even though it's late.
On the way back, the boat we chartered took us to take photos at the popular spot,
Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park.
It was truly beautiful, but there were boats queuing up to take photos like a game of musical chairs.
First visit to Cheow Lan Dam
The vastness of this place makes you realize how small we humans truly are.
We are just a tiny speck in the grand scheme of nature.
Here, we can truly connect with nature and become one with it.
Listening to the sounds of birds, gibbons, and other wildlife is truly a wonderful experience.
It doesn't matter which floating house you choose, they are all good. So, choose whichever one you are most comfortable with!
