Despite frequent visits to Chiang Mai, we always seek new accommodations to enhance our experiences. This trip was no exception. We chose the Nimmanhaemin area for its proximity to restaurants and amenities, crucial for families with young children. Our accommodation selection, Cmor Hotel Chiang Mai by Andacura, was strategically located near the Maya Shopping Mall, offering convenience and comfort.

The room we stayed in was a Junior Suite, featuring:

  • 41 square meters of space
  • An extra-large desk/workstation
  • An exceptionally comfortable king-size bed
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access
  • Top-notch amenities

  • Private balcony, spacious and safe for small children
  • Bicycles available for leisure rides to Nimmanhaemin or Maya
  • Swimming pool, large and small, chlorine-based
  • Parking for 10-12 cars with car covers provided
  • Price at 4,000 baht, excellent value, including breakfast

Our little one loves this room. It's spacious and perfect for running around. We appreciate the high balcony railing for safety, and the non-slip floor is a bonus.

The bed is very spacious, and the pillows and blankets are incredibly soft. As soon as our little one saw it, they jumped on the bed and started rolling around. For families who enjoy traveling together and want to sleep in the same room, I highly recommend Cmor Hotel Chiang Mai by Andacura. It's comfortable, well-equipped, and offers excellent value for money.

For families who need to heat up food or want to cook their own meals at times, this room is equipped with a gas stove and a range hood. We are very happy with this corner because there have been many times when we have had to prepare food for the next meal for the little ones, and it needs to be heated before eating. We couldn't find a place to heat the food, and in the end, we had to throw it away. Or when it comes to washing baby bottles, the kitchen sink here is really big, just like when we are at home. It's so comfortable.

The refrigerator here is larger than the size we see in most hotels, so storing milk or fruit (which is very important for us) is something we really like.

Upon entering our room, we were greeted by a knock on the door. To our surprise, a friendly staff member presented us with a large plate of fruit. They informed us that this was a special service offered to guests staying in larger rooms, special rooms, and those on extended stays (monthly bookings). For these guests, fruit platters are served every other day. This unexpected gesture was truly delightful.

The dining table is separate from the table for placing items, allowing for a more focused dining experience.

The bathroom is another area that we were satisfied with, giving it a 4-star rating.

  • The bathroom is quite spacious and well-divided for different uses.
  • The bathtub is large enough for two people to bathe comfortably without feeling cramped.
  • The shower head is amazing. When we turned it on, we couldn't help but say "wow!" It felt like showering under a waterfall.
  • The floor tiles are not slippery at all (unlike many other places we've been to, where even rubber tiles can be slippery and make you feel like you might fall).

We deduct 1 point for the bathroom. The amenities provided were insufficient. The soap was very fragrant, but only a small amount was provided. Other amenities were also limited.

Stepping out onto the balcony, we are greeted by a refreshing sight: a sparkling pool stretching out before us. With the sun warming our skin, we can't resist the urge to change into our swimsuits and take a refreshing dip. The cool water envelops us, washing away the day's worries as we splash and play.

Children can swim safely in the clean and relatively private pool. There are two pools, a small one where two-year-old children can stand and walk comfortably, and a larger one.

The children had a blast swimming for over an hour. They were full of joy, excitement, and stamina. If it hadn't rained, they wouldn't have left the pool so easily.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The service, accommodations, and amenities were all exceptional and exceeded our expectations.

After a tiring swim in the pool, we bathed the little one and are now heading to Maya and Nimmanha. It's a shame it's raining today, otherwise we would have gone for a stroll at Tha Pae Gate Market.

Another great feature of Cmor Hotel Chiang Mai by Andacura is the availability of bicycles and rickshaws for guests. If you're feeling lazy to walk to Maya or Nimmanhaemin, you can simply request one from the staff.

Early in the morning, the rumbling of my stomach woke me up. The Eat Mor Cafe & Bistro offers a compact breakfast buffet for hotel guests. While the menu may not be extensive, the food is tasty and caters to a variety of preferences, including rice dishes, noodles, American breakfast, coffee, and salads. There is also a station for freshly brewed coffee.

Some visitors may also want to enjoy dinner here, which is also available. The highlights of the menu are said to be tom yum soup and sticky rice with mango, which are perfect for international tourists.

The ambiance is fantastic, with ample seating that doesn't feel crowded.

After a hearty meal, it's time to pack our bags and head home. If we delay any longer, we might miss our flight. Thank you for following along. Next time, we'll be reviewing "The Valley of the Wicked" for you.
