Hello. This is our third review. It may be confusing to read, but we will try to improve it. _/_

Review: Singapore Airlines Route Phuket (HKT) - Tokyo (HND)
and how to connect in Singapore . . .
Recently, this airline has cheap promotional tickets, so I'm sharing the information. It may be incomplete, but I hope it will be useful.
Last April, we had the opportunity to escape the heat and go to Japan. It was our first time traveling to a country that was not a neighboring country, and we had to take the longest flight ever. . .
This trip, we flew with Singapore Airlines. We were lucky to get a full-service ticket with 30 KG of luggage for 13,XXX baht. The flight started from Phuket, which is very cheap compared to many other airlines that offer flights on this route and during the peak season of cherry blossoms in Japan.
This trip took a total of 11 days, from April 9th to April 20th.
On the first day of the trip, we were very excited. We arrived at the airport at 6 am to check in our luggage. We went straight to the Silk Air counter. We had already checked in online and selected our seats. After checking in our luggage, we received two tickets: one for HKT - SIN and one for SIN - HND. If you change your mind and want to change your seat, you can inform the staff here. However, you can only change your seat for HKT - SIN. For SIN - HND, you have to change it in Singapore. . .
Our first flight was with Silk Air, flight number MI749, departing from Phuket at 8:30 am and arriving in Singapore at 10:30 am local time. We had a layover until 1:30 pm.
After receiving our boarding passes, we filled out the immigration forms. The process is quite simple. You can find instructions here. Once we finished filling out the forms, we proceeded to immigration, where we queued, waited our turn, and had our photos taken. Be aware that morning flights can be crowded, so allow ample time.
After clearing immigration, we encountered the King Power duty-free shop.
Our first time at the international passenger terminal after the renovation. We still have some time to explore...
Our boarding gate is 84, located on the lower level. We need to take a shuttle to reach the aircraft waiting on the other side of the airport. This morning, the airport is bustling with activity, and there are quite a few people around. It makes me wonder if we are actually abroad right now.
7:45 AM, the boarding announcement began. Today's flight wasn't very crowded, so I opted to board later to capture photos without disturbing others. However, to my surprise, as soon as the bus arrived at the aircraft, the staff urged everyone to board immediately. As a result, I was unable to take any pictures of the plane.
The scene cuts to the interior of the aircraft after boarding. The aircraft we are on is a Boeing 737-800 with a 3-3 seating configuration.
After the plane took off, the flight attendants began serving food. Today, there were two menu options: American breakfast and spicy shrimp stir-fry. We chose the spicy shrimp stir-fry, which was delicious and had just the right amount of spice. It was served with bread, which we highly recommend trying. We loved it!
As our stomachs were full, our eyelids grew heavy, following the natural order of things. We had woken up very early and were enjoying a peaceful sleep when the captain's announcement jolted us awake, informing us that we were about to descend for landing. . . .
11:25 local time, we arrived at Changi Airport. Our plane landed at Terminal 2.
Our boarding pass indicates that we need to transfer to Terminal 3. There are two options to get to Terminal 3: by bus or by train. We chose to take the bus because we were too lazy to wait in line for the train. The directions are simple, with signs guiding us the whole way. We just followed the signs.
If your layover is longer than 6 hours, you can take a city tour.
The shuttle bus took approximately 10 minutes to reach Terminal 3.
Upon arrival, follow the flight information board to locate your departure gate. If your layover is longer than the displayed information, you can search for your flight number at the information kiosks located throughout the airport or inquire at the information counter. . . .
Changi Airport offers free Wi-Fi for 3 hours. To obtain the access code, present your passport at the information counter.
Upon arrival at Changi Airport, proceed to the iShop Changi located en route to Gate A to redeem your 20 SGD gift voucher, courtesy of Singapore Airlines for transit passengers. This voucher can be used for purchases at various airport shops or for dining at the Food Centre.
To reach the iShop, follow the signs for Gate A. Once you reach the Cosmetic & Perfumes store, turn right and look for the GST Refund sign. The iShop will be located nearby.
The iShop Changi store is located inside the airport. Present your boarding pass and passport to the staff.
This is what the gift voucher looks like. You can use it as a discount for duty-free shopping. However, the gift voucher can only be redeemed once per trip. You can choose to redeem it on your outbound or return flight from Japan. We recommend that if you are flying back from Japan on a daytime flight, you redeem it on your return flight from Japan. This is because the flight from Japan to Singapore takes longer than the outbound flight from Phuket or Suvarnabhumi.
On our way to the airport, we decided to grab a bite at the Food Center, which is conveniently located between Gate B and Gate A, where we picked up our vouchers.
When you redeem the voucher, you will receive a card. You must use all of the money on the card because it cannot be exchanged for cash.
There were many restaurants to choose from, but we didn't take any pictures because our carry-on luggage was overflowing. Haha! After walking around, we ended up at a restaurant that served duck and roast pork rice. This set included a drink and cost around 430 GSD, which was a bit pricey. Haha...
Flight SQ634 from SIN to HND departs at 13:55 and arrives at HND at 21:50. Our flight today will depart from Gate B4.
Upon entering the gate at Changi Airport, charging stations are available for your convenience.
At 13:00, boarding announcements began for passengers in different classes. Today's flight is fully booked, with passengers from ANA joining us. Most of the passengers are Japanese.
This is the Boeing 777 that will take us to Japan. . . .
Every seat on the plane is equipped with a personal television (PTV) offering in-flight entertainment. The system features a wide selection of new movies, although the soundtracks are in English only.
It has a USB port for charging your phone.
Following takeoff, flight attendants distributed refreshments, snacks, and a menu.
Based on reviews from various sources, many recommend trying the Seafood menu on Singapore Airlines. We therefore pre-ordered through the website http://www.singaporeair.com 48 hours before our flight. Passengers who pre-order meals will be served before other passengers...
We received the fish menu, which was a bit greasy, haha. If you get the same menu, I recommend adding a little salt. Another advantage of full-service airlines is that everything is available, and we can ask for as much as we want, haha!
The passenger sitting next to us drank red wine throughout the flight.
After the dessert was finished, it was time for ice cream. Today, it was Magnum ice cream, and we could eat as much as we wanted. 55
The plane journey was long and tiring, with many naps and requests for snacks. We still haven't reached Japan.
The scene cuts to Haneda Airport. We arrived in Japan at exactly 21:50. After getting off the plane, we couldn't take any pictures because we had to go through immigration, which doesn't allow photography. We also had to hurry to buy a bus ticket to get into the city. . . .
For those who choose to enter the city by bus like us, after picking up your luggage, you will find a bus ticket counter. You can choose your destination. The fare is 1230 yen.
We chose to go down at Shinjuku. We took our bags to the boarding point indicated on the ticket. After that, we could get on the bus. There will be staff to help lift the bags.
