When it comes to Indian food, what comes to mind?
For us, we think of food that is full of the fragrant aroma of spices and curry powder.
Personally, I already like food that contains spices.
But for many people, I believe that they wouldn't want to try Indian food.
This Indian restaurant with good taste, if you get to try it, I believe you will like it.
Today, we are having lunch on a Saturday, where there will be both a buffet and a la carte options.
The buffet price is 800 net, including drinks.
However, today we will be indulging in the a la carte menu.
Upon entering, we were greeted with excellent service from the restaurant staff.
(99% of the staff are Indian, but don't worry, there are Thai staff who can help with information).
The first thing that arrived after we ordered our food was the "sauce" in 4 different styles.
Along with onions, chilies, and lemons to be eaten as side dishes.
Red sauce is a tomato sauce, but it is a tomato sauce in the style used with Indian food.
Green sauce is a mint sauce.
White sauce is a yogurt sauce.
Brown sauce is a tamarind sauce.
The 4 different sauces are eaten with different menus.
But in reality, it's more about personal preference as to which menu you want to eat with.
To begin, we offer a complimentary appetizer to all our guests:
Papri Chaat sphere
This dish features a crispy cracker topped with a yogurt sauce, mint chutney, and tomato sauce.
The first dish is Masala Papad, priced at 120++.
This vegetarian dish features crispy flatbread with a salty flavor.
It is served with bean sprouts, onions, tomatoes, and Chat masala.
Introducing the Galouti Kabab (490++), our signature dish!
This melt-in-your-mouth delicacy features finely ground lamb kebab.
Prepare to be amazed by its exquisite texture that literally dissolves on your tongue.
A culinary experience not to be missed!
This dish is served with saffron-colored flatbread. Mint sauce is recommended as an accompaniment.
The Burrah Kabab (800++) is a must-try.
This New Zealand lamb kebab is grilled to perfection in a tandoor oven, infusing it with the aromatic flavors of Indian spices.
The lamb is cooked to tender perfection, devoid of any gamy odor, and infused with the fragrant aroma of the marinade.
The Atta Chicken (550++) is a must-try.
It's served in a unique way that will surprise you.
This dish features grilled chicken, but the presentation is anything but ordinary.
The dish consists of chicken roasted in a tandoor oven, wrapped in banana leaves, and then further baked in bread.
This process infuses the chicken with the aroma of spices. It is recommended to serve this dish with yogurt sauce.
Note: The bread used for wrapping is highly aromatic but not edible.
The sentence is already in English and does not require translation.
Char Mirch Ka Salmon Tikka (500++)
Salmon Tikka marinated with four types of spices
and grilled to perfection. The flavors penetrate the flesh, complementing the natural taste of the salmon.
Multani Murg Tikka (350++)
This succulent grilled chicken tikka is marinated in fragrant spices and served in a beautiful pot with hot coals underneath to keep it warm. The aroma is intoxicating even before it arrives at your table.
When it comes to Indian cuisine, a meal wouldn't be complete without a curry dish. This particular dish is a daily special recommended by the restaurant. It's a type of curry that includes cheese.
The cheese used here is different from the European cheeses we're familiar with.
The white squares you see in the dish are Paneer, an Indian cheese.
It has a bouncy texture similar to tofu, but with a richer flavor. It's slightly tangy due to the fermentation process.
While the color might suggest a strong smell, the aroma is actually mild and easy to enjoy.
The taste is quite different from the typical Thai curry.
Dal Factory (270++)
This cup features Dal Factory, a dish with a rich history and complex flavors. Dal, a lentil-based stew simmered overnight and infused with various spices, forms the base of this dish. The aroma of Dal Factory evokes the familiar scent of Indian masalas, with the distinct fragrance of lentils adding a unique touch.
Both curry dishes are best enjoyed with naan or roti bread.
The roti bread (60++) at the restaurant is made with delicious whole wheat flour.
The naan bread with butter and garlic (90++) is fragrant.
Both breads are delicious in their own way, and they are both so good that you can't stop dipping them in the curry.
When asked which one I prefer, I can't say because I love them all.
Dip, dip, dip, oh my, it's so good.
The final savory dish was a Lucknowi Murg Biyani (350++), which is essentially Indian chicken biryani.
Unlike Thai chicken biryani, this dish features long-grain Indian rice and boasts a subtle yet aromatic blend of spices.
The fragrant rice and chicken were a delight, offering a unique culinary experience compared to traditional Thai chicken biryani.
Unfortunately, being the last dish, we were unable to finish it all, but it was truly a memorable culinary journey.
After the savory dishes, let's move on to dessert.
Indian desserts are known for their rich creaminess and sweetness.
Malai Jamun with Chocolate Sauce (195++)
Similar to a soft cake, but with a heavy emphasis on cream, with fresh strawberries to cut through the sweetness.
Assorted Kulfi (145++)
Kulfi is a traditional Indian ice cream. It differs from Western-style ice cream in its emphasis on the richness of milk. The creamy texture and浓郁的奶香 make it a unique and delicious treat.
And here is the look of the drink between hands today.
Saptrasa (160++) recommends that if you encounter a heavy meal like this, Saptrasa can help you.
Another delicious meal completed.
Original Indian food is much easier to eat than I thought.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try it, don't worry about not being able to eat it.
We think the smell of spices is very mild compared to some menus that are generally sold in Thailand.
The smell of spices will be a little fragrant up the nose.
If anyone likes spices, I can tell you that you will love this restaurant.
