Where to go in one day?

How can I get there without a car?

Have you ever encountered this problem before?...

Where should I go? Let me think...

I've been in Suphan Buri for almost three months now, and I still haven't had the chance to explore the city center.

It's time to explore the city! Let's find out what hidden gems are waiting to be discovered and if there are any public transportation options available. After some research, I found out that Suphan Buri has convenient songthaews (shared taxis) running around the city all day long. 👍👍

Information ready, travel to various points, ready to go…

Where will we take you today? Hop on the songthaew and follow me! 😊😊

The journey begins at Suphan Buri Bus Terminal...

(Recommendation: Take the Songthaew (shared taxi) to Wat Pa.)

The first stop on our journey is the "Mangkorn Heaven Park," accessible by a songthaew (shared taxi).

Besides the enormous dragon, what else is there to see and do at Paradise Dragon Park?

Let's take some photos before entering the university.

Upon entering the compound, the first landmark encountered is the "City Pillar Shrine".

What's inside the City Pillar Shrine? Let's follow me and I'll show you around. Let's go pay respects to the City Pillar.

Striking architectural angles

Donation corner: Write your wishes on a wooden tablet.

His Excellency "Hiang Thieng Siang Ti"

Let's move on to the next point in the city.

Walk to point 2, "Mangkonsawan Village".

The "Sky View Tower" offers breathtaking views and even features cherry blossom trees.

From the top of the observation tower, you can also see Mangkorn Sawan Village.

From another angle, you can see the Buddha Bhancha Park and other angles in a 360-degree view.

After enjoying the panoramic view from above, let's head down and capture some stylish photos below.

The interior boasts a wide array of shops selling food, necessities, and souvenirs. Feel free to browse, sample, and purchase to your heart's content.

Let's move on to the next point to avoid running out of time.

Point 3: "Uthayan Phutthabanyacha, Phra Yulai"

Pay homage and pray for blessings from the Buddha Urai.

After a delightful stroll, our stomachs began to rumble, prompting us to seek sustenance before our energy waned.

"Spicy Boat Noodle Shop"

Feeling hungry or not, I don't know. Let's have two full cups. It's so delicious. My stomach is full, and I have some energy. Next, let's wave for a songthaew to go to the next place. Where should we go? Follow me, follow me.

The songthaew finally pulled up in front of "Wat Pa Lelai Worawihan" temple. Without further delay, let's head inside to pay our respects and seek blessings.

"Luang Pho To" of Wat Pa Lelai Worawihan

If you visit Suphan Buri and do not pay respects to Luang Pho To,

It's like not even coming to Suphan Buri, you know.

Wat Pa Lelai is a temple with a long history and is also a location mentioned in the literary work Khun Chang Khun Phaen.

After paying respects at the temple, we hailed a songthaew and enjoyed a leisurely ride to our next destination: the Bhah-Jaemsai Tower.

Let's buy tickets to enter the tower together. I forgot how much it costs, but it's definitely not expensive.

After purchasing your ticket, head towards the tower. A staff member will be there to greet you and provide guidance, so there's no need to worry about getting lost.

The staff then took us up the elevator to see the tower.

The first floor serves as a reception and tourist service area, and also features a display of paintings.

The second floor is a space for relaxation and leisure, offering refreshments, beverages, and scenic views of the surrounding area.

The third floor houses a souvenir shop and offers panoramic views of Suphan Buri city.

The fourth floor offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city of Suphan Buri and neighboring provinces. This floor also features murals depicting the epic tale of Khun Chang Khun Phaen and other stories.

"Journey's End"

This trip has come to an end.

The guide recommends taking the Songthaew (shared taxi) route to Wat Pa, which passes all three tourist spots. The order of the stops is flexible, but it is suggested to visit the observation tower first as the Songthaew passes it first. The writer humorously admits to visiting the tower last due to being unsure of its location.

No need to worry about getting lost. Just ask the driver if this is a good place to park, or ask someone nearby. The people of Suphan Buri are very friendly.

See you again on the next trip.
