Following in the Footsteps of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX)

On July 15, 1975, Their Majesties the King and Queen, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, and Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak visited the Krasiao Dam. They had lunch and relaxed before attending the opening ceremony of the Banharn Chaemsaeng Witthaya 3 School, where they bestowed the flag to the local Cub Scouts. They also inspected the Krasiao Dam irrigation project in Dan Chang District, Suphan Buri Province.

The Khwae Yai Dam, the second longest earthen dam in Thailand, is a popular tourist destination with stunning scenery. It is considered one of the best places to watch the sunset and, during the winter months, offers breathtaking views of the morning mist.
