This was my family's first time visiting Macau. We had been to Hong Kong three years prior. On this trip, we flew to Macau, took a ferry to Hong Kong, then took a ferry back to Macau before flying back to Thailand.

"To be honest, I'm not really into casinos. Haha! We went there to take pictures and grab some food. This trip was for my birthday in March 2017, when I turned 30. My son was just over 4 years old at the time."

This trip, I must confess, I didn't sleep at all. My wife packed our bags while I wrote my blog. We had to leave for the airport early in the morning, and I was afraid I wouldn't wake up if I went to sleep. So, I decided not to sleep at all and ended up dozing on the plane. However, the entire day was ruined because of my lack of sleep, and I became irritable.

I recently had breakfast at Black Canyon at Don Mueang Airport. The prices were a bit high, but I had a lot of time to kill and hadn't slept, so I needed to fuel up.

Upon arrival, take the shuttle bus from the Macau airport to The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. The weather is...

The weather is cold. The wind is blowing, making it feel even colder. We have been taking photos here for a long time.

Seeking refuge from the biting cold, we ventured to Studio City Macau for a delightful culinary experience.

The first meal was heavy, I was hungry.

Our luggage was very heavy. We were a group of three: father, mother, and child. We traveled for 8 days, exploring independently using Google Maps.

After finishing lunch, we took a car from Studio City Macau to the other side of Macau. There are two sides: the casino and luxury hotels, and the old town.

We stayed at the Ole London Hotel Macau, which is popular among Thai tourists. The hotel offers good Wi-Fi and friendly service, and the rooms are private.

After packing our belongings, organizing, and showering, we headed to Senado Square for a leisurely stroll and some photo opportunities.

Taking a walk and stopping by McDonald's for a light snack. The baby is asleep now (didn't get enough sleep last night + tired).

Looking for dinner, found a delicious restaurant called Seng Kei Pak Chok (Rua dos Cules).

I had deep-fried dough sticks, donuts, and congee. I was so full. Since I hadn't slept at all, I decided to go to bed early at around 10 pm. Zzzzzz.

Concluding the first night with...

The night air.

Date 2

Today, we traveled (on foot) to the Macau Museum at the Monte Fortress.

Next, visit St. Dominic's Church, a popular tourist destination in Macau.

We then came across a Snoopy store called Pastelaria Yeng Kee and a Snoopy Pop Up shop.

After going out, I started looking for something to eat. I found a delicious gyoza restaurant that reminded me of Kinza Gyoza back home.

Take a bus to the nearest stop near A Ma Temple and walk the rest of the way.

From Wat A Ma, we went to The Mandarin's House, a vast mansion of a former nobleman.

Upon returning, I stumbled upon a restaurant serving chicken soaked in liquor. It was incredibly delicious.

Next, stop by McDonald's for an Angus beef burger to refuel.

It's late at night, I'm hungry again. 5555

There is a delicious noodle shop at the entrance of the hotel.

After lunch, we went back to the Venetian for photos. There were many couples taking pre-wedding photos.

The night is very beautiful.

We returned late tonight because we are going to Hong Kong tomorrow.

Take a car back to the hotel, back to the other side (I'm not staying here, haha).

Part 2 continues our story in Hong Kong. Read Part 2. Part 3 returns to Macau (staying at another hotel). Read Part 3.
