Hello everyone, today Jade will take you to change the atmosphere from tourist attractions to coffee shops. But I assure you that it is unlike any other, because this coffee shop is called "Roasting House in the Forest", located in Srinakarin district, Phatthalung province. It is a coffee shop where we can roast fresh coffee beans and drink them. Let's see how it goes.

Upon entering Baan Pa Coffee Roastery, you'll be greeted by a rustic ambiance that lives up to its name. Nestled amidst a lush rubber plantation, the cafe offers a tranquil escape into nature's embrace.

Upon arrival, we found a table and decided to order coffee. Unlike typical cafes, this establishment offers a unique experience where customers grind and brew their own fresh coffee. After placing our order, we were presented with a set of coffee-making tools, as shown in the picture below.

The equipment has arrived. What's next?

The equipment is ready, and now we need the coffee beans. These are unroasted Robusta coffee beans.

Let's start roasting the coffee beans.

As the coffee beans are roasted, they release oil, resulting in the light roast coffee seen in the video.

After roasting for an additional 3-5 minutes, the coffee beans will reach the desired dark color and be ready for grinding.

Once the coffee beans are roasted, the next step is to grind them using a hand grinder. Place the coffee beans in the grinder and turn the handle until they are finely ground. This process is similar to using a pencil sharpener when you were a child.

The ground coffee beans are then boiled.

This will produce brewed coffee like this.

If we order a small set of coffee, we will get 2 shots of Espresso for 80 baht, which is only 40 baht per shot.

In addition to coffee, the shop also offers coffee flower water, which pairs well with coffee. The owner explained that the coffee flower water is made by drying coffee flowers and then brewing them like tea. The water has a fragrant aroma and a pleasant taste.

The bakery offers fried mantou and steamed rice cakes. I ordered the fried mantou to pair with my hot coffee, and it was a perfect match.

Before leaving, let's take a look at the atmosphere inside the shop. There are many beautiful coffee grinders on display.

This establishment also offers roasted coffee beans for purchase. If you enjoyed the taste, you can buy some to grind and brew at home.

Baan Paa Coffee Roastery is located in Ban Na Subdistrict, Si Nakhon Rin District. If you are driving from Phatthalung towards Trang, it will be on your left-hand side. Enter the same alley as Baan Na Koh Blissful Resort. There will be signs along the way, so you won't get lost.

Coffee enthusiasts passing through or residing near Phatthalung or Trang provinces are encouraged to visit Baan Pa Coffee Roastery. This establishment offers a unique coffee experience with a delightful ambiance.
