Seeking a tranquil escape during the holidays? Look no further than the verdant slopes of Phu Thap Boek. Amidst the lush greenery and refreshing air of the rainy season, this idyllic retreat offers the perfect opportunity to rejuvenate and reconnect with nature.

Phu Thap Boek is the highest peak in Phetchabun Province, with an elevation of approximately 1,768 meters. It is located approximately 40 kilometers from the district center and 100 kilometers from Phetchabun city.

Let's take a break to rest our bodies and eyes, and recharge our energy together.

After several days of tiring work, I finally had the opportunity to take a break. My body craved fresh air, and the first place that came to mind was Phu Thap Boek. With the recent rainfall, the air would be even more refreshing. Without hesitation, I packed my bags and invited my travel companion, my mother, to join me. We set off on our journey.

At 3:30 PM, I arrived at Phu Thap Boek. What impressed me the most was the breathtaking view along the way up, with white mist blanketing the entire landscape.

The road leading up to the viewpoint is quite steep, so it's advisable to check your vehicle's condition and drive cautiously. Even on the way up, the scenic views are breathtaking, making one wonder how spectacular the view from the top must be.

Finally, we arrived at our accommodation, Rai Rim Pha. One of the best things about this place is its proximity to a stunning viewpoint. The room I booked was a double room for 1500 baht per night, equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and a water heater. (Apologies, I didn't take any pictures of the room.) Without further ado, we unpacked our belongings and headed out to capture some photos. During that time, it was raining intermittently, making the sky a bit gloomy. However, we decided to wait and see what the morning would bring.

After packing our belongings, it was time to capture the scenic views. The advantage of visiting during the rainy season is the opportunity to witness the morning mist and the lush greenery, offering a refreshing sight for the eyes.

After exploring the area, we returned to our accommodation, where we could order a delicious hotpot to be delivered right to our room. The large set costs 500 baht, while the small set costs 400 baht. The taste was good and enjoyable. I forgot to mention that the weather up here is very cool, even cold. Eating hotpot in the cool weather was a great experience! 555

After that, I took a break to rest so that I could wake up early in the morning to see if I would encounter any fog.

6:00 AM. I woke up feeling groggy because the weather was so inviting to sleep in. I had to get up to see the fog that we had set out to see. When I opened the door to my room, the cool air hit my face. I could see some fog, but the sky was overcast because of the rain clouds. Even so, it was enough for what I had hoped for.

This morning, I went down to take pictures of the beautiful scenery. There were a lot of people, even though it was a weekday. I spent a long time enjoying the beautiful view, and I almost wanted to stop time right there. It was so different from the atmosphere in the city. The fresh air was easy to breathe, and the green leaves and grass were very comfortable to look at. After spending a good amount of time there, I went to prepare for my next journey. I plan to stop by Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew.

Along the way down, I saw many local villagers selling their produce. I bought a lot of it, as a way to support the community.

Upon arrival, I paid my respects at the sacred Phra That, seeking blessings and auspiciousness. The surrounding views were breathtaking, with wisps of white mist adding to the ethereal beauty. After spending a considerable amount of time there, we decided to grab a bite to eat at a restaurant within the temple grounds. The ambiance was delightful, allowing us to savor our meal while enjoying the scenic panorama. It was a truly blissful experience.

After that, we traveled back, marking the end of our relaxing trip. This trip was a true getaway, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. No matter how busy we are, we should always find time to relax and add color to our lives. Nature still holds many wonders waiting to be discovered, and we must also do our part to protect it. Thank you.
