Hello, this is my first time traveling to Korea.

This trip was purely driven by emotions. I just thought, "I want to travel, where should I go, where should I go?"

This coincides with a 20% discount on AirAsia flights! I checked and found attractive prices for the Songkran period.

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the weather is perfect, so what are you waiting for? Book now! ^^

And then wait... prepare to open up new experiences together.

This trip consisted of 5 people and lasted for 7 days and 6 nights.

Approximate fixed cost per person: *

Round-trip airfare: 10,000 baht

T-Money 38,000 won

Accommodation: 22,500 Baht

DAY 1 - April 11, 2017

This time we are flying from Don Mueang Airport.

Alright, let's get ready to board the plane. We arrived in Korea around 11:30 PM, so we decided to sleep at the airport tonight.

(After passing through immigration, many people recommend going up to the 3rd floor to sleep, as it is quieter. There are also security guards patrolling at night, which is true. We went to sleep there, and there were many tourists who had already claimed their spots.)

* Our experience passing through immigration was uneventful. All travelers in our group exited safely.

**Complete the application form and prepare the necessary documents, such as a travel plan and accommodation booking confirmation.**

***Relax and smile brightly.

April 12, 2017

Throughout our trip, we stayed near Hongik University Station, exiting through Exit 3. Our accommodation was at Gamja Guesthouse, which we found to be very conveniently located.

We used the A REX Express service to travel from the airport to our accommodation. We took the All-Stop train, which allows payment with a T-Money card.

T-Money cards are widely available at convenience stores. We purchased ours at a GS25 store located within the airport. The card design is quite adorable. >.<

The walkway to the accommodation is also flooded.

Upon arriving at Hongik University Station, we exited through Exit 3 as instructed. Since we were unable to check in yet, we stored our luggage and prepared to explore the city.

However, an army marches on its stomach! So, let's start with eating! 555

This restaurant, Saemaeul Sikdang (Hongik Exit 8), is located on the right side with a yellow awning (opposite James Cheese Galbi). Importantly, it is open 24 hours.

The highlights include: **>> Seven-minute kimchi stew with thick broth (Chilbun Teokbokki Kimchi Jjigae) // Marinated sliced pork in a pot (Yeolran Bulgogi)**

The taste is incredibly delicious. The pork is especially good. We were so full after eating that we could barely walk.

(In Korea, most restaurants require customers to order according to the number of people in their group. For example, a group of 5 people would need to order at least 4 sets, or sometimes even 1 set per person.)

The staff at this restaurant are friendly. Although they cannot speak English, they use translation tools to communicate with customers.

Now that we're full, let's go see the cherry blossoms.

The festival events were mostly over when we visited, so we had a relaxing walk around.

Yeouido Park and Yeouido Hangang Park (Seoul Subway Line 5, Exit 1)

The cherry blossoms (sakura) are in full bloom, painting the landscape in a soft, romantic pink. The sight is truly breathtaking, especially with couples strolling hand-in-hand. It's enough to make anyone envious!

Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom is located near LOTTE WORLD amusement park. Get off at Jamsil Station, Exit 3.

Let's move on to the second cherry blossom spot, which features an amusement park as a backdrop, offering a different kind of beauty. The scenery is magnificent, and every angle is picturesque.

The chilly weather calls for some warmth. / The milk-flavored pudding is very delicious.

Ewha Womans University (Ewha Womans University Station Subway Line 2 exits #2 & 3) is a great place to shop. In our opinion, the clothes here are not expensive. We even managed to snag a bargain at Star101. Hehe.

Bongchu Jjimdak 봉추찜닭, Hongdae Branch (Hongik University Exit 9)

Exquisitely delicious! A million times delicious! Enjoy with hot steamed rice for an unforgettable experience!

The portions are incredibly large. We were a group of five people and we were all very full after sharing the dish.

And then we returned to our accommodation to rest and prepare for the next day.

Before going to bed, I stopped to buy Yakult to drink. I secretly like the bottle design. It's so creative! 55

The Yakult tastes the same as in our country, but personally, I think ours is more concentrated.

April 13, 2017

Before leaving the accommodation, we had a light breakfast. Our accommodation provided bread for toasting and jam. There was also 3-in-1 coffee available. We had breakfast here every morning. The jam was delicious!

Cheonggyecheon Stream - Gwanghwamun Exit 5, walk straight ahead and you will see the purple clamshell.

The canals here are incredibly clean and clear, making for a delightful stroll.

On the way^^

Walking up from the canal, you will encounter a statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, followed by a statue of King Sejong.

Gyeongbokgung Palace (a short walk from Cheonggyecheon Stream).

The largest royal palace in Korea. After passing through the Gwanghwamun Gate, we will buy tickets to enter the palace (3,000 won).

Upon arriving at the Gwanghwamun Gate, we witnessed the changing of the guard ceremony, which takes place at 11 am. We observed the ceremony briefly before entering the palace grounds.

After visiting the palace, we are starting to feel hungry. Let's go find something to eat.

Bard Kim Seongsaeng (Paruda Kim Seongsaeng) Gwanghwamun Branch

We intentionally came to this restaurant because we wanted to follow in the footsteps of the triplets, even though it's a different branch. ^^

Kalbi Mandu (คัลบี มันดู), or dumplings filled with pork, are incredibly delicious. The dumplings are packed with juicy pork and arrive steaming hot.

Kimbap / This is also delicious. The bite is quite big, and I still want to eat it even as I write this.

Before heading to Bukchon Hanok Village, we stopped by Cafe Bora, a small purple cafe in the Samcheong-dong district.

Purple Sweet Potato Iceflakes // Purple Sweet Potato Ice-cream. Delicious and amazing! The shaved milk ice is fragrant and goes well with the purple sweet potato sauce.

Bukchon Hanok Village, a well-preserved traditional Korean village.

This village is less crowded in the morning. We happened to go at noon, when it was quite crowded.

Please keep it quiet as there are residents living here.

Lined with charming shops.

We walked from the village.

This is In-Sadong/Ssamziegil Building, a shopping center with a focus on DIY products.

Another highlight of Insadong that should not be missed is Ddongbbang, the poop-shaped bread. The inside is filled with red bean paste, and the taste is acceptable.

Indulge in a refreshing cup of green tea at o'sulloc, a renowned establishment offering premium tea products. The brand boasts its own organic tea plantation on Jeju Island, ensuring the exceptional quality of its offerings.

Don't miss out, green tea lovers!

Continuing on to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP): I intended to see the Rose of Sharon, but! When I arrived, I found only sparse, bare grass and a sign saying that it was closed for renovations. Oh no! I'm so disappointed.

April 14, 2017

Today, we will be heading to Incheon to meet the triplets.

Before embarking on my journey, I indulged in a taste of banana milk, a quintessential Korean experience.

Songdo Central Park

Take the Incheon Line 1 subway and get off at Central Park Station [Exit 4].

The playground where the triplets play is located at Condo 102, where the triplets reside.

(We are huge fans of the triplets and love them very much.)

Let's continue eating cheese menus with the triplets at Teru Restaurant: Teru Tero | Pork Tonkatsu Cheese Fondue

Located in the NC Cube Canal Walk shopping center, start from Zone 1 and walk straight until you reach Zone 3 (crossing two roads). The shop is on the 2nd floor, right side of Zone 3.

Warm cheese, when you dip the pork tonkatsu into it, the cheese stretches around it, warm and gooey. Oh my, it's so delicious!

April 15, 2017

Today, we are going to Nami Island.

Nami Island's signature dish is Dakgalbi, a spicy stir-fried chicken dish with vegetables in a gochujang-based sauce.

The food is delicious, living up to its reputation. The side dishes are unlimited, as are the vegetables.

Then, we bought round-trip ferry tickets to Nami Island.

The ferry ride from the pier to Nami Island takes approximately 5-6 minutes. This is the ferry that will take us to Nami Island.

The island offers walking paths for leisurely strolls, and bicycle rentals are available for those who prefer a more active exploration.

Brother Beomgyu

Next, we will continue to Hanul Park - World Cup Stadium Station (Seoul Subway Line 6), Exit 1.

The ascent to Hanuel Park begins with a 291-step staircase. For those who prefer to avoid the climb, an alternative route is available.

This park also offers a shuttle service to the top, but there is an additional fee. If I remember correctly, it should be around 3,000 won per person.

The upper level comprises various garden sections, offering a pleasant atmosphere and fresh air.

What to eat next? 홍스쭈꾸미 홍대본점: Hong's Jjukkumi | Spicy Stir-fried Squid + Shrimp Egg Fried Rice (Hongik University station, Exit 8)

Very delicious! There were also many Thai people there. 555

The highlight was the shrimp egg fried rice. The staff stir-fried it with the remaining sauce from earlier, resulting in a crispy rice dish with a strong seaweed aroma and plenty of shrimp eggs. It was delicious!

After finishing your meal, please don't forget to grab a Yakult for each person when paying.

The final touch is the "Yogurt Jelly" with its adorable packaging, featuring the original Yakult bottle. ^^

Aromatic, truly sour milk. Very enjoyable to chew.

April 16, 2017

Start at Common Ground - Exit 6 of Konkuk University Station.

A hub for Korean youth

Let's continue with ice cream at Remicone 레미콘: REMICONE, following the triplets again.

Thunder bomb (썬더밤): The Thunder bomb is a refreshing treat with a minty candy shell and a rich, creamy milk ice cream center.

Seoul Tower - Myeong-dong Station Exit 3

The Namsan Cable Car offers a free shuttle service from Myung Dong subway station to the starting station. However, the shuttle departs every hour. We were lucky to catch the shuttle when we arrived, so we didn't have to walk.

Aesthetically pleasing in accordance with the narrative.

One day, we will go and lock a love lock together too, haha. This time, we can only watch others lock theirs. T^T

April 17, 2017

Today is our shopping day. We shopped for cosmetics, clothes, and other things. Since it rained all day, we didn't take out our cameras much.

Today, we mainly walked around the Gangnam area.

In the late afternoon, I arrived near my accommodation to prepare for my departure to the airport.

Kran Pang - Very delicious and affordable. It looks like a fried egg on toasted bread.

Next up, Churro101

We ended the meal with the restaurant's signature red sauce fried chicken, called Yang Yom Chicken.

Exquisitely delicious, served fresh and hot. The portions are incredibly generous.

It's time to return to Thailand. I'm feeling a bit sad about it.

DAY 8 - April 18, 2017

Arrived in Bangkok safely. Let's continue working and traveling to earn money.

Thank you for following us.

This trip was an incredibly enjoyable experience for us. We had the opportunity to explore the world and gain new perspectives that we had never encountered before.

These photos serve as a reminder of the wonderful memories we've made.

(During times of discouragement and exhaustion, revisiting these happy memories has truly been a source of strength for me.)

Most importantly, thank you to my family. Going on trips with my family is the best. Seeing my parents smile makes me happy.
