It's a holiday! Where should we go?

Where to go in Bangkok? But!

Our challenge is to eat well at an affordable price.

A popular tourist destination in Thailand, Wang Lang, offers a wide variety of delicious food options, from savory to sweet.

Our journey to Wang Lang began at the BTS Skytrain, where we alighted at Saphan Taksin Station and exited through Exit 2.

And then take a boat at this pier, board the orange flag boat for 14 baht, and then you will arrive.

Our first stop is Somying Fish Cake, located directly opposite the Faculty of Nursing at Siriraj Hospital.

Deep-fried to crispy perfection, served with a tantalizing dipping sauce. Oh, the sheer delight and deliciousness!

Prices start at 30 or 40 baht.

Next up is Auntie Tim's "Khao Tang Taek" (crispy rice flour cup) with a variety of fillings, bursting with flavor at only 12-15 baht per piece.

The filling is abundant and diverse, including corn, shredded egg yolk, sesame-coated coconut, raisins, custard, jackfruit seeds, and taro.

For today's meal, we will be enjoying a dish with shredded egg yolk, corn, and sesame-coated coconut.

The price is 15 baht per piece, except for the sesame coconut, which is 12 baht per piece.

The taste is delicious again. The filling is so generous, it's like they're not afraid of losing money! Haha.

Next door to Auntie Tim's shop is Ms. Phasirirat's coconut pancake stall.

The aroma is fragrant and reminiscent of coconut milk. It is available in two sizes: 20 or 30 baht.

Sure, auntie. 30 baht each, haha!

Note: Best enjoyed hot.

The next shop is "Thua Baep Silom", with the Wang Lang branch being the second location.

This shop's mung bean cakes are made with fresh dough and come in two varieties: peanut-coated and coconut-coated. Each box costs 40 baht.

Continuing with affordable sushi, Artortai Sushi (Branch 2) is always packed with customers no matter how many times I visit.

The price is only 5 baht per word. There are many types of tasks to choose from (if you are more advanced, there are also options for 7 baht and other prices).

Another highlight of the restaurant is the takoyaki, which is also very popular and costs only 5 baht per piece.

Across from Oratai branch 2, you will find Wang Lang Bakery. The freshly baked bread is huge!

We ordered the raisin bun for 45 baht, and it was absolutely packed with filling.

Let's take a short walk to a smoothie shop. There are quite a few around, but the most famous one is definitely Jeena's Smoothie.

Ending the day with a delicious bowl of Vietnamese kway chap at Khun Daeng's shop. The wait was a bit long, and sitting outside was unbearable due to the intense heat.

The menu for today is a simple option without vegetables, priced at 50 baht per bowl. The broth is excellent, with a sweet and savory aroma.

This trip was packed with delicious food, both at restaurants and take-away. We ate so much that our bellies were about to burst!

The total amount paid is less than 300 baht.

This holiday season, if you don't have any plans, why not come and enjoy yourself like us?
