Our destination today is Khao Kho, Phetchabun Province. However, along the way, we couldn't resist the hunger pangs that arose, so we searched for a restaurant to satisfy our cravings. We came across this eye-catching white shop called "Tiew Tang Toh" CAFE. The name of the shop left us wondering what they sell. Is it 'noodles' or 'cafe'? Let's just go in and see.

Upon entering, the first impression is undeniably that of a café. The atmosphere is airy and comfortable, decorated in white tones, blended with the warmth of wood and the natural elements of the surrounding trees, creating a visually pleasing and tranquil ambiance.

Let's take a look at the menu, which offers a wide variety of options, especially noodles. We can choose our own toppings, similar to ordering an extra side dish. However, this time we can specify what we want to add, whether it's more noodles, dumplings, or a soft-boiled egg. When we asked the restaurant for recommendations, they suggested "Tom Yum Dry Noodles" and "Tom Yum Beef Noodle Soup" for noodles. For snacks, they recommended grilled meatballs, fried dumplings with pork filling, and the must-try seafood cream salad rolls. We ordered all of them.

Recommended menu: "Dry Tom Yum Noodles"

The food was delicious, and the ingredients were fresh. The restaurant makes everything from scratch, including the peanuts, chili powder, and pork crackling. After finishing the noodles, I was full, but I remembered that I have a separate stomach for dessert. So I ordered a strawberry waffle and Thai tea with grass jelly. The food arrived after about ten minutes. The waffle smelled amazing, and the Thai tea was good. It was made with fresh milk and had a smooth texture. The grass jelly was chewy and added a nice touch.

A diverse selection of desserts and beverages is available. We recommend the strawberry waffle paired with Thai tea grass jelly.

Before leaving, out of personal curiosity about the name, the owner explained that it came from his childhood. Whenever anyone was hungry and told their mother, she would tell them to set the table and wait, right? Since they were opening a noodle shop, they combined the words "noodles" and "set the table" to create "Teeyaw Tang Toh". In simpler terms, they were 'setting the table' waiting for customers like us to come and eat. As for the cafe, as mentioned before, it serves desserts and drinks, so it was a natural fit.

The owner also mentioned that there are exciting activities that rotate to provide customers with free snacks.

For those who are interested, the shop is located right on the main road, about 200 meters before the bypass. You can follow the map in the picture. If you get lost or can't find it, you can call 064-476-9316 for directions.
