This trip was born out of a casual invitation to friends, who surprisingly took it seriously. So, we decided to go for it. Two couples and three other friends, four motorcycles in total. There was another group of friends who wanted to join, but they had work commitments. They asked to join the following week, but I had already discussed it with the other friends, and they were all set to go. So, I told them we'd go this time first, and if they still wanted to, we could go again another time. And that was that.

Let's go! We arrived at the foot of the mountain around 4:30 PM. **There is a gas station and a 7-Eleven at the entrance. Make sure to fill up your tank, as there are no gas stations on the mountain.** The distance from the foot to the summit is approximately 19 kilometers. As we drove, we noticed wet patches on the ground and saw fog above. We thought to ourselves that we must be lucky this time, as we would definitely encounter fog the next day.

What a stroke of luck! I didn't have to wait until tomorrow morning. As I drove up, I got to drive through the fog. When I got out of the fog and looked down, I saw a sea of fog. It was great! #All photos were taken with a mobile phone camera.

Park anywhere you can find a spot, until my friends who came with me called me to hurry up and come up. Haha. When I reached the top, the first thing I did was not look for a place to stay, but rushed to the viewpoint.

The white mist collides with the golden sunlight, it's amazing. Don't be mistaken, it's not morning, it's around 5:30 PM. That's enough for now, the battery is running low, let's find a place to pitch the tent.

This is the price for those who did not bring a tent. For those who brought a tent, the fee is only 50 baht. However, on the day I went, they did not collect the fee, so I ended up not paying. Haha! If you don't want to sleep in a tent, there are many accommodations available, but I don't know the price.

After setting up the tent and organizing our belongings, it was time for dinner. There were many restaurants to choose from, and those on a tight budget could opt for cooked-to-order dishes starting at 50 baht. As we ate, enjoying the city lights below and the cool breeze, a voice interjected: "Can we skip the shower?"

After finishing our meal, we rushed to take a shower before the temperature dropped further. However, after showering, the activities we had planned were canceled, and we all went to sleep in our respective tents. We fell asleep around 10 pm and woke up a little after midnight, unable to sleep due to the cold. Despite wearing a sweater, long pants, and an extra blanket, the combination of cold and wind made it impossible to sleep. I thought to myself that with such strong winds, we probably wouldn't see any fog the next day. I fell asleep again around 3 am and woke up at 5 am. The wind had calmed down, giving me a glimmer of hope. I quickly went to the bathroom, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and climbed up to wait for the sunrise.

The fog may not be very thick, but it is still beautiful. I am not disappointed.

The fog gradually rises higher in the late morning.

Feeling hungry, I decided to grab a bite before heading to pick up my belongings. Most restaurants have an upper floor with seating, allowing me to enjoy a meal while taking in the view.

After packing, I ran up to the viewpoint one more time before leaving.

These are the friends who came with me on this trip.

For those who are planning to visit during the winter, I have to say that you are mistaken. I have been to Phu Thap Boek once before, in January, and there was no fog like this. The fog at Phu Thap Boek only occurs during the rainy season, but it is not guaranteed to be there every day. It depends on the weather conditions. So, hurry up and come! You don't have to wait for the winter. The rainy season is also cold.

After coming down from Phu Thap Boek, we continued to Wat Pha Sorn Kaew. It takes about 1 hour to travel from Phu Thap Boek. The road to Pha Sorn Kaew is a very beautiful road. You can drive and enjoy the view along the way.

This temple is amazing! Both the temple and the view are beautiful. If you come in the morning, you will definitely see fog.

Before leaving, walk to the back where there is a rice and curry shop and a noodle shop. The view is amazing! Rice with curry, 2 dishes for 50 baht.

Sitting with my legs dangling, eating rice, enjoying the view. Feeling refreshed!

After finishing my meal, I started my journey back under the scorching sun. I felt sorry for my friend, but for me, it was a breeze. I'm already so tanned, there's nothing left to tan. This trip concludes here. See you on the next adventure!
