"Khiriwongkot Village, Udon Thani"

Ride an oxcart into the forest to visit a waterfall and enjoy a meal served on banana leaves.

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and embrace the slow pace of rural living in Udon Thani at Kiree Wongkot.

Kiree Wongkot, literally translates to "mountain surrounded by a maze," aptly describing the village's unique setting.

We heard that the grilled chicken here is very delicious and they offer unlimited refills, haha!

While we're here, we must also try the sticky rice in bamboo tubes, and most importantly, the fish soup with sour curry and banana blossom.

What makes it special is that they boil it in bamboo tubes, and it's super delicious! The taste is spicy and rich.

In the Isaan region, fresh rice noodles are a popular choice because they are difficult to find in Bangkok.

The fresh rice noodle dough is placed in a press and hot water is immediately added.

The springy texture of fresh noodles is a delight. Each region in Isan has its own unique style.

Here, too, there are some. Let's take a look. We'll eat them on banana leaves, just like you.

When visiting Khiriwong, you must eat at Khiriwong Waterfall.

However, we didn't stop there on our trip, so we ate at the village office instead.

We have some relaxing pictures to share with you,

as well as details for those who want to stay in a homestay.

They say it gets down to 0 degrees Celsius here in the winter, so it's going to be freezing!

Are you ready for me to show you the pictures? I'm sure you'll love them. Haha!

He is completely surrounded.

The air is truly refreshing, spreading a sense of verdant tranquility.

The trip leader for the E-Taen whitewater rafting trip beamed with delight.

The songthaew, a type of open-air truck taxi, can accommodate eight passengers, four in the front and four in the back. We encountered light rain during our journey.

We will pass through the Keree Wongkot Village.

The path gradually turned into red soil.

The loyal dog led the way all the way to the rapids.

Stuck in a rut.

Let's go back to eating grilled chicken.

There are also grilled fish. Wow, it looks delicious.

A woman walks by carrying a bamboo tube in which she is steaming sour fish curry and glutinous rice.

The village headman proudly displays a chicken.

The ice-crushing device is still made of bamboo. The villagers are very creative.

The sentence "ช้อนตักเเกง เป็น เป็นเเบบไม้ไผ่" can be translated to English as:

"The curry spoon is made of bamboo."

The pants are cooked and ready to serve.
