Breeze Building and Reception of INPARADISE Restaurant

This post contains a lot of pictures, but I couldn't help myself. I was so impressed with this meal. You could say that this meal was a stroke of luck, because my sister had actually booked the table for a date with her boyfriend. She was really looking forward to it, as this restaurant is incredibly popular in Taipei and requires a reservation two months in advance. However, her boyfriend ended up having to work and couldn't make it, so I was the lucky recipient of the reservation.

The restaurant's interior is elegant and sophisticated, exuding an air of refinement and class.

The restaurant, named INPARADISE RESTAURANT, is located in the business district of Taipei, near the Taipei 101 building. Situated on the 46th floor of the Breeze building, a mixed-use complex housing offices, restaurants, and a shopping mall, the restaurant requires strict security measures for entry. Visitors must present and scan their identification cards. However, upon informing the security personnel that you are there to dine at the restaurant, they will open a special passage on the left side and escort you to the elevator.

The furniture and table setting are luxurious and expensive.

Pressing the elevator button to the 46th floor of our building will bring you to a warm and lively atmosphere, filled with friends. You might even find the elevator packed! However, upon opening the elevator doors, you might be confused as to whether you've arrived at a restaurant or a nightclub, given the vibrant lights and colors, albeit with minimal sound. Once you pass through the magical zone near the reception where guests register and receive their table numbers, you'll be greeted by a million-dollar view.

A thousand baht for the meal, but a million views.

The Breeze Tower, a high-rise building strategically positioned without any other tall structures obstructing the view, offers a panoramic vista of Taipei City. The iconic Taipei 101 skyscraper stands nearby. INPARADISE has thoughtfully arranged special tables with optimal views of Taipei 101, adorned with vibrant stickers, providing a memorable photo opportunity for visitors.

As we explored the area and surveyed the food stalls, we were overwhelmed by the sheer variety of dishes on offer. It quickly became clear that it would be impossible to sample everything. For now, we are simply walking around, soaking it all in. Thankfully, we are wearing long sleeves, otherwise our drool might be dripping everywhere.

The first corner we explored was the Japanese food corner, with a sushi bar where waitresses prepared and served sushi piece by piece. The ingredients were of the highest quality, guaranteeing that every piece of sushi was fresh. I couldn't help but drool.

"Other sushi toppings, including sashimi, are also available in a variety of styles, all made fresh. I miss it so much!"

Fresh ingredients used to prepare dishes for the Japanese food bar

Once cooked, the food is placed on marble slabs, waiting for customers to come and pick it up to try.

This is a page of sushi, including squid, salmon, and beef.

Various sushi and rice balls at the sushi bar

Next to the sushi bar is a grilled food section.

Grilled fish with a fragrant aroma, fresh and sweet meat.

A ubiquitous Taiwanese delicacy: grilled squid, found everywhere.

Various fried ingredients, including shrimp, mushrooms, seaweed, and eggplant, are deep-fried tempura style and served with tempura dipping sauce.

The dish is Khao Prung Roong, a savory rice dish with a salty, savory, and chewy texture. It is delicious.

The must-try item is the adorable steamed bun. The yellow one is filled with sweet and creamy custard, while the white panda bun is filled with black sesame paste. A cup of tea would be the perfect accompaniment.

A symbol of prosperity, Peking duck. But here, they eat it differently from us. They wrap the meat and skin in a flour tortilla, then add the vegetables you see in the cup and eat it. As for the crispy skin, they use it to make sushi instead.

Next is the juice bar, which offers a variety of fruit juices. The must-try items include kiwi juice and various cocktails. Oh, and the only beer available is Heineken. Unfortunately, Chang and Leo beers are not available.

Wine is available for an additional charge, by the glass or by the bottle.

The left is the highly acclaimed kiwi juice, with a refreshing sour and sweet taste. The top right is hot milk, ordered directly from Hong Kong, which is also delicious. The bottom right is fermented fruit juice, which aids digestion and is an excellent carminative.

Next up is a bar for soup and other hot pan dishes.

Today, we offer three types of soup: crab soup, beef soup, and abalone porridge. Yes, the abalone is the expensive one, the one you're not sure about. You should try it at least once.

The crab bisque was sweet and fragrant. The broth tasted similar to miso soup, but I wasn't sure. I didn't dare ask in English, as my language skills aren't strong. However, the crab claws were both large and fresh. You can have as many bowls as you like, but I recommend ordering one at a time.

Next to the soup kitchen is the frying kitchen. Today, we have large tiger prawns and lamb. It is served as shown in the lower right corner of the picture. Oh my god, I beg to die. It's all delicious. How can I eat it? I'm willing to die today.

The customers have started to arrive, but the atmosphere is still very elegant and refined.

Customers are gradually entering the inner zone.

This angle is the egg angle.

Steamed egg in the shell, topped with caviar and salmon roe. Creamy, salty, and delicious. It goes down smoothly.

The kitchen offers both roasted pork ribs and braised beef in red sauce. The side dishes include corn in white sauce and mashed potatoes. Both the main course and the side dishes are delicious. Will I survive this?

A young chef is preparing pork ribs for roasting.

The meat is roasted in a thyme leaf, still red and juicy. This is how it is delicious. Drizzled with red wine sauce. Oh!!!

The star dish is the "Abalone Congee," which is made to order with large pieces of abalone, not scraps. The fresh shiitake mushrooms and rich broth complement the chewy texture of the abalone, justifying its high price. Indulge in this luxurious dish and savor its exquisite flavor.

The upper right corner features a Taiwanese-style chili paste, perfect for pairing with abalone congee, much like the small, crispy fried fish in the lower left corner. Don't forget the preserved fish, a crucial ingredient for a truly complete and delectable experience.

The golden broth looks amazing. At first, I was worried that adding the mackerel would make the broth oily, but it turned out to be a delicious addition.

This is a picture of delicious abalone porridge.

This is absolutely delicious! (with a million exclamation marks) It's a mushroom soup with two soup options: mushroom soup and corn soup. We chose the mushroom soup. The pastry covering the soup cup is crispy and delicious when dipped in the soup. It's amazing!

This is a Mediterranean seafood dish with a fragrant curry paste. It is delicious and flavorful.

This is a popular spot for seafood lovers.

Large, fresh blue crabs, folks!

Tiger-patterned crab (I see you, sister)

"I don't know what kind of crab this is, but I really miss seafood dipping sauce."

Blue Crab in English, but it's not blue anymore. Orange is eating it now.

This is the black crab of our house, or the sea crab. Take it to stir-fry with curry powder, it's delicious.

Inside, inside, it's all eggs. Oh, I want to make crab egg chili paste.

Top left: Large prawns. Top right: Plum wine, a pre-meal drink. Bottom left: Various dipping sauces, but none can compare to our seafood sauce. Bottom right: Cheese, a must-have wherever you go.

These are also seafood, but they are made into cocktail food. They are fun to eat, but they are really filling.

Who cares about salad now?

The atmosphere is pleasant, quiet, and not crowded.

The children's meal set is really cute.

This is amazing! I was initially hesitant to try it, but once I did, I couldn't stop. The grilled pork ribs are so flavorful that they don't even need dipping sauce.

The top left and bottom right are sushi with beef and duck skin, while the top right and bottom left are roasted meat with thyme leaves and side dishes.

The crabs in the basket have now shed their shells before me, revealing their eggs.

Let's take a look at the dessert zone. A wide variety of desserts, life almost fades away.

Why does it look so delicious? Why am I wasting time taking pictures?

I almost had a heart attack when I saw this.

Oh no! How many more calories do I need to burn off?

Lemon tart, strawberry, and Mont Blanc, or Japanese chestnut cake.

The fruits on the lower left are real honeycombs. They let us scoop out the honey to eat with Häagen-Dazs ice cream on the lower right. It was incredibly delicious, juicy, and sweet.

This entire dessert spread was a true indulgence, and I can attest that every bite was pure satisfaction. The chocolate zone, particularly the top two layers, boasted an intense, almost bitter richness that was perfectly balanced by the creamy base. The lemon and strawberry tarts offered a refreshing contrast, effectively cutting through the richness of the other elements. The thinly sliced strawberries, artfully arranged in a delicate fan, added a touch of elegance to the presentation.

Top left: Mont Blanc, sweet and creamy with a nutty flavor from the chestnuts, very delicious. Top right: Cream mousse cracker, sweet and crunchy. If you take the cracker and scoop out the mousse below, it's even better: crunchy and sweet.

The bottom left image depicts a mango mousse with chocolate, offering a sweet and fragrant mango flavor paired with rich, dark chocolate. The bottom right image showcases a choux pastry adorned with sweet meringue and a soft, creamy interior, creating a harmonious combination of textures and flavors.

The upper left corner features a rose cake. Initially, I expected a sweet flavor, but upon taking a bite, I was surprised by a sweet and sour combination. The highlight, however, was the fragrant and refreshing rose aroma. The upper right corner presents a fresh milk cake, boasting a sweet and soft milk flavor that complements the strawberries adorning its surface. In contrast, the lower left corner showcases a cheesecake with a smooth and velvety texture, so rich in cheese that it's almost undetectable. The lower right corner features a chocolate cake infused with ground nuts, paired with smooth cream and nuts on top, creating a delightful combination.

This is a soufflé, which should only be eaten hot. If it cools down, it will collapse and the inside will not be fluffy. However, if you eat it hot, it will be delicious because it is rich in butter and milk, and the dough is soft. You can enjoy the contrasting texture of the icing and sugar sprinkled on top. This dish is not available for self-service. You must order it at the dessert counter, where it will be baked to order. Once it is baked, it will be delivered to your table.

This is honeycomb ice cream, a rich Häagen-Dazs flavor. You eat it with the honeycomb, yes, real honeycomb that you have to scoop out yourself to add to the ice cream. It's sharp and chewy because the honeycomb is wax. If you like it, you'll chew it up, but if you don't, you can just spit it out after the sweetness is gone.
