Every year during this period, many people tend to travel, whether with friends, family, or alone. Popular destinations with pleasant weather near Bangkok during this time include Khao Yai, which offers a wide variety of attractions.

This year, we decided to take a family trip to Khao Yai. We didn't have to leave early in the morning, so we took our time driving and stopped to eat and buy snacks along the way. There are gas stations and convenience stores all along the road, as well as tourist attractions. However, we only planned to stop at the places we wanted to visit, which was Palio Khao Yai. We had never been there before, even though it had been open for a while.

The name "Palio" is derived from the renowned horse race festival held in Siena, Italy. This name was chosen to reflect the spirit of competition and excitement associated with the event. The landscape design of the project was entrusted to Amanaaj Kitparnana, a leading landscape architect in Thailand. Amanaaj boasts an impressive portfolio of architectural and interior design projects, including the residence of the Thai ambassador to the WTO in Geneva, Switzerland, the Sukhothai Garden Palace, and the Baan Suan Parichat. His expertise has transformed the surrounding gardens into a stunning oasis, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the commercial complex.

Nestled within the scenic Khao Yai National Park, Palio Khao Yai offers a unique Italian-inspired experience. Spanning 7 acres along Thana Rat Road, this charming village boasts a diverse array of shops and restaurants, attracting tourists seeking a picturesque escape. Its authentic Italian architecture, reminiscent of a traditional village, provides a captivating backdrop for photography and exploration.

We arrived in Palio before noon, so we walked around buying necessities such as snacks, fruits, and food that we wanted to eat. This is because there are a wide variety of products sold here, especially grape products, as there are many vineyards in the surrounding area. We then walked around taking pictures of the various gardens and buildings, which were beautiful and unusual.

After exploring, enjoying fruits, purchasing snacks, and taking photos, we continued our journey to our accommodation and the restaurant where we would have lunch. This was the Aramiss Restaurant in Khao Yai, located in front of the Splendid Hotel, our accommodation for the night.
