Raohe Street Night Market, one of the oldest night markets in Taipei, primarily sells food. It is located near the Rainbow Bridge and the Songshan Ciyou Temple, offering a trifecta of experiences in one location.

Visitors can purchase food and beverages from the market and bring them to the Rainbow Bridge to enjoy the music or admire the beautifully lit bridge. The market and the bridge are conveniently located near each other, making it easy to enjoy both. To get there, take the Green Line of the MRT and get off at Songshan Station (G19). The majestic Songshan Ciyou Temple will be visible, with the Raohe Night Market on its left side.

As a food-focused market, the Hera Hera Market boasts a signature dish: the "Hu Jiao Bing," a black pepper-marinated pork filling wrapped in dough and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Resembling a steamed bun, it is baked in a charcoal oven, similar to traditional Thai clay ovens. More accurately described as a "charcoal-baked bun," the most popular vendor is located at the market entrance. However, be prepared for long queues.

In addition to savory dishes, there are also famous desserts, such as "Xuehua Bing" or what we call "Bingsu". It is shaved ice with sweet syrup and various fruits, with a variety of toppings to choose from. Come and try it.
