Morning, Sapa.
As we approached Lao Cai Station, the train staff woke us up. We were able to freshen up and use the complimentary disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Stepping off the train, one is immediately struck by the cooler air compared to Hanoi…
We have arrived at Laukai Station.
We have already booked a bus to Sapa through an agency, but if you haven't booked one, you can call one here. There are many buses available, but you may have to bargain a little.
This is the van we booked. It's not just us, they'll be combining us with another group. About half the van is Thai people. 555.
The scenery along the way was breathtaking. After about an hour's drive, we arrived in Sapa town. Our car dropped us off right in front of our hotel, the Sapa Summit Hotel.
Let's go see the room…
The room is very spacious, clean, has a water heater and a hairdryer. There is no air conditioning, but it feels like there is when you sleep. 555
Let's take a look at the balcony view.
The view is spectacular, to say the least...

After packing our belongings, we decided to head to Fansipan Mountain today, as the sky was clear and there was no rain. We asked the hotel to arrange motorbike rentals for us at a price of 130,000 VND per day. We had to fill up the gas ourselves, as they only provided enough fuel to reach the gas station. With our motorbikes secured, we set off on our adventure! Before heading to Fansipan, we decided to find a place to eat, as we hadn't had breakfast yet and were very hungry. We parked our bikes near the center of Sapa town.
What did I eat? Bun cha again, haha.
The taste is different from Obama's restaurant, but this one is a bit small and the price is a bit high.
Total damage: 425,000 VND
Grilled pork...
Full and satisfied, we zoomed off to Fansipan!
We didn't ride far before reaching the entrance to the cable car.
Let's take a picture with the sign as a souvenir. One, two, three, click...
Cable car tickets cost 600,000 VND for adults, and 700,000 VND if you want to take the funicular as well. The first option requires you to climb the stairs to the top, and you will receive a ticket like this.
We got our tickets, let's ride the cable car!
Here comes our cable car...
Fortunately, our cable car was empty except for us. We took photos with great enthusiasm. Let's enjoy the view from the cable car together.

From here, you will need to walk uphill. Be warned, even foreigners find it challenging! However, if you have purchased a tram ticket, you can ride it to the top from here.
We have arrived at the peak of Fansipan, the roof of Indochina.
A moment later, a large group of Chinese tourists arrived. And then, dear viewers...
After descending from Fansipan, we originally planned to visit Silver Waterfall. However, upon arrival, rain began to fall. Consequently, we changed our plans and opted for a salmon shabu-shabu restaurant located near the waterfall instead.
We ordered a salmon hot pot set for 500,000 VND. The broth was a bit bland, but the salmon was generous.
After the rain stopped, we returned to Sapa town to stroll and enjoy the evening atmosphere in Sapa...
The darkness thickens, growing ever denser...
A visit to the Sapagan Night Market is a great way to experience the local culture. The market is filled with vendors selling a variety of goods, most of which are handmade by the local people. From bags and hats to clothing, there is something for everyone at the market. The prices are also very reasonable, making it a great place to find souvenirs or gifts.
As dusk approached and hunger pangs set in, we decided to find a place to eat. Walking past this restaurant, we noticed a large group of Vietnamese people dining there, so we decided to give it a try.
A plate of rice with three curry choices costs around 79 baht, which is quite expensive, but the portion is very generous.
Before eating, we have to take a picture of the food first. 1, 2, 3, click!
After that, I walked around looking for street food to eat until I came across this shop. It seemed popular because there were a lot of people there.
There are also seats for you to eat. It has been served. It looks so delicious.
..Full and then return to the accommodation to rest. Tomorrow we will continue....

..Fall In Love “SAPA”..
Good morning, Sapa…
Today we had to check out of our accommodation and change our scenery to stay at the Sapa Eden Hotel.
When we came down from the accommodation, we checked out, returned the car, and then there was a surprise for us early in the morning..
When... the receptionist at the hotel told us that someone had left a gift for us. When we picked up the gift, it was... a Vietnamese guide book from the oppa we met on the train...
And he wrote a letter to all of us too. It made us feel touched early in the morning. 555
After leaving the Sapa Summit, we had to walk to check in at Sapa Eden.
Along the way, we met hill tribe people selling goods, who followed us like shadows. 555
We have arrived at our accommodation.
Upon entering, you will be greeted by a friendly lady. While calling her "eccentric" might be a bit strong, she certainly has a lively personality.
Upon our initial conversation, the lady informed us about a newly opened 4-star hotel named Eden Boutique Hotel, owned by her younger sibling. She inquired if we were interested in staying there at the same price as our current booking. We expressed our desire to view the room first before making a decision. If the room met our expectations, we would switch hotels; otherwise, we would return to our original booking. She agreed and informed us that someone would pick us up in approximately 30 minutes to view the room. While waiting, we decided to have coffee at a nearby café called Café in the Clouds.
This place offers not only delicious coffee but also breathtaking views.
A short while later, the staff at Eden came to inform me that the car had arrived.
This is the front of the hotel that the lady boss recommended.
The hotel's interior appears very new. The top floor is still under construction.
We didn't take any pictures of the room, but it looked luxurious, new, and clean. The only downside was that we couldn't see much of the mountain view, so we decided not to stay there. Additionally, our accommodation from the previous day was nearby, and we wanted to try something different. Therefore, we asked the lady to take us back to Sapa Eden. She agreed but asked why we didn't take the hotel. We explained that it wasn't because the hotel was bad, but because we wanted a mountain view. She understood, and we ended up taking a car back to our original accommodation, which took almost half a day. 555
We booked three rooms, but the owner told us that we would get one Family Room that could accommodate four people (at the price of two rooms) and that our Deluxe Room would be upgraded to a Sweet Room. We were okay with that.
When we went to see the rooms, we were happy with the mountain view. 555
Let's take a look at the Family Room first.
The room also features a cozy sofa area...
Let's take a look at another room.
After finishing our room tour, we quickly packed our belongings as we had already spent a lot of time. We rented motorbikes from a shop outside for 70,000 VND per day, but we had to return them by 7 pm. Renting from the hotel would have been significantly more expensive.
..Today, we were headed to Cat Cat Village. Upon arrival, we paid the entrance fee of 50,000 VND per person.
Let's go enjoy the view.
Vietnamese girl, met yesterday at Fansipan, met again today at Cat Cat village.
...After leaving Cat Cat Village, we were starting to get hungry, so we went into town to find something to eat before continuing on our journey.
We ate at this restaurant.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, and the view is also good.
Let's switch things up and have pizza for dinner tonight.
The total cost of the meal was 350,000 VND, which is considered reasonable. The food was also delicious.
Our next destination is Hamrong Sapa Mountain, which is located nearby.
We are going there to enjoy the panoramic view of Sapa town, but to get there, we have to hike up the mountain again.
This is the entrance, and the entrance fee is 70,000 VND per person.
Tickets secured, let's go!
Walk, walk, walk, and walk again..
This place has many photo spots. They provide a map when you purchase a ticket, but we weren't interested in any of them. We'll head straight to the summit tomorrow...
After nearly an hour of walking, I finally arrived...
..It was worth the effort, it's truly beautiful..
After spending some time at the top, we descended and headed into the city to enjoy salmon shabu-shabu at Red Dao House Restaurant.
One salmon shabu-shabu set, please.
The broth at this restaurant is much richer than yesterday's, but the salmon portion is a bit small. It's a trade-off compared to yesterday's restaurant.
After finishing our meal, the sky began to darken, so we decided to take a stroll through the city center to admire the vibrant atmosphere of Sapa at night. As we approached the central square, we were surprised to find a large crowd gathered, suggesting some kind of festival was taking place.
Upon inquiring with local residents, it became evident that they were celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, with extensive displays and festivities.
We strolled through the event, taking in the sights.
We had to return the car before 7 pm, so we only had a short time to walk around. After returning the car, we walked around and tried some street food. This Vietnamese pizza, which costs 25,000 VND, was delicious. You must try it!
Before returning to my accommodation, I came across another barbecue restaurant with skewers priced at 20,000 VND each.
Then we returned to our accommodation.
...It's already the last night in Sapa. Time of happiness always passes quickly....
Tomorrow we will travel back to Hanoi city...
