Koh Chang, a tourist destination not far from the capital, is a great option for a short getaway to experience the island's atmosphere.

For our recent trip to Koh Chang, we opted to stay at AANA Resort & Spa, a resort situated on the shores of Klong Prao Beach.

Upon arrival at Koh Chang, you can take a shared taxi directly to the resort.

For those who want to explore the island, renting a motorbike is recommended for a relaxing ride while enjoying the island's atmosphere and breathing in the fresh air amidst nature. You can easily stop and take photos along the way.

After a tiring journey, the staff presented us with refreshing welcome drinks of herbal tea and cool towels, which instantly lifted our spirits.

Accommodation

The room I stayed in was a Deluxe room.

The facility is complete with amenities such as slippers, television, refrigerator, drinking water, fruits, etc.

The bed is wide and comfortable, I don't want to get out of bed.

The room's rear view overlooks the resort's main swimming pool.

The bathroom features a well-organized layout of bathing facilities.

Surroundings

The resort's surroundings are primarily constructed using wood.

The resort offers two swimming pools: the main pool and the Hill Bar pool.

Activities

The resort offers a relaxing activity for guests to enjoy: kayaking from the hotel to the private beach, where they can admire the scenery and swim in the sea.

A boat ride to see the fireflies at night, which the boat driver recommended as a great time to visit, especially in November when there are so many fireflies, like a Christmas tree.

The first two activities are offered free of charge by the resort.

In addition, the resort also offers services in the following areas:

- A spa to relax and rejuvenate the body.

- Mini-mart for guests to shop for small items.

• Fitness facilities are available for guests to exercise and maintain their fitness.

The breakfast buffet offers a variety of options, including American breakfast items, rice porridge, fried rice, as well as traditional Thai snacks like coconut pancakes, fried bananas, and fried sweet potatoes.

I was personally impressed by AANA Resort & Spa's decor, activities, food, and location. The resort's amenities are perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway.
