If you are a movie enthusiast, "ดินสอขอเขียน" invites you to visit the "Film Archive", a museum that tells the story of Thai cinema from the past to the present. The museum is divided into two sections: the museum itself and an outdoor exhibition.

The Thai Film Archive Museum is housed in the "Sri Krung" sound film building, a bright yellow building. Admission is by tour only, starting at 10:00 AM and lasting approximately one hour. A guide will lead the tour.

This museum showcases the history of filmmaking, from early equipment and film reels to elaborate props. It highlights the challenges of filmmaking in the past and the remarkable advancements that have been made over time. The final room recreates a traditional cinema, complete with wooden seats, a film projector, and screenings of classic films. The experience evokes the nostalgia of watching movies under the stars in a temple courtyard.

Next, let's continue to the equally fascinating outdoor exhibition, starting with the "Sineema Railway Station", a replica of a railway station building from the reign of King Rama VII. A train of film carriages is parked at the platform, led by the C5647 steam locomotive. The carriages are connected to a first-class passenger car, which houses the "Film and Railway Exhibition", taking you on a journey into the world of cinema.

Next, we have the "Nickelodeon," an early cinema that emerged in the bustling city of New York.

"The Cave of Wonders Kinetoscope" exhibits the "Kinetoscope" film, a peephole-style film by Thomas Edison. Anyone interested can watch it by simply inserting a 10-baht coin.

In addition, if you want to watch a movie, there is the "Sri Sala Ya Cinema", a 121-seat cinema that screens films preserved by the Film Archive and films from around the world. The cinema shows films on Tuesdays-Fridays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays-Sundays at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and on public holidays at 1:00 p.m. Movie buffs, don't miss it!

"The Film Archive" is another interesting place for movie lovers and photography enthusiasts, with plenty of cool corners to capture the perfect shot.
