What kind of activities do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Besides traveling, we also enjoy going out to cafes for snacks and coffee.

Today, I had the opportunity to visit a beautiful cafe in Nakhon Pathom called

House of Chandra (House of Phraya Chanthabhumiphithak), also known as "Saneh Chan,"

The restaurant is housed in a white colonial-style building, offering a clean and elegant aesthetic.

The style and decoration of the restaurant are inspired by the great-grandfather, Phra Chanthrabhumiphithak, a former head of the Royal Palace Guard at Sanam Chan Palace. In memory of him and his wife, the house was completed during the time of their descendants. The atmosphere of the decoration has the air of a nobleman's house during the reign of King Rama VI.

The name "Saneh Jan" was inspired by the nearby temple, Wat Saneha Phra Aram Luang.

The Chan Tree in Thap Khuan Palace, the provincial tree of Nakhon Pathom, Sanam Chan Palace, and the loyalty to King Rama VI.

Upon entering the shop, a gleaming gold coffee machine catches the eye, prominently displayed on the white counter. A Syphon coffee brewer is also available.

Pink roses are another element that is used to decorate the entire shop.

This corner offers a sweet and princess-like atmosphere, perhaps due to the various elements such as the chairs, white walls, floral tablecloth, and the miniature castle.

Saneh Chan offers a variety of Thai and Western dishes, as well as a wide selection of beverages.

Unfortunately, we had already eaten lunch, so this time we only ordered desserts and drinks.

The first menu item is coffee soda. To prepare this drink, pour an Espresso Shot into a glass filled with soda water.

Coffee and soda will mix together to create a foamy top. The taste is a strong coffee with a fizzy aftertaste, offering a unique experience.

"Bua Luang Dan Mek" or Butterfly Pea with Lemon. The shop will serve butterfly pea water and lemon separately. We have to mix them ourselves in the glass. If you look closely, you will see butterfly pea flowers frozen in the ice.

Upon mixing all ingredients, the color will change from blue to purple. This refreshing drink is sure to invigorate you.

Let's move on to desserts. I'm very proud to present this menu item.

Fresh Alua dessert, in addition to its beautiful appearance, has a very delicate taste that is not too sweet. Here, they squeeze it fresh every day.

As an avid fan of aloo wa, I was particularly impressed by the freshly made version. It was truly a delightful experience.

The mango sorbet is a refreshing treat, with the tangy crumble base providing a delightful contrast to the sweetness of the mango.

Let's take a stroll through the garden behind the shop. Upon opening the door, you will be greeted by a classic-style garden.

This style of garden is designed to be symmetrical, often with stone paving and walkways. Trees are pruned into various shapes, and sculptures are used as focal points.

The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet.

There are comfortable seating areas for relaxation.

Located at the back, adjacent to the canal.

Walking back to the shop, you will see an arched walkway next to it.

You can walk through to the front parking lot of the store.

Sen Chan is open daily from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM.

The shop is located on Suan Ta Krai Road, Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province, not far from Phra Pathom Chedi (approximately 2.4 kilometers). You can use Google Maps to navigate without getting lost.

In addition to having beautiful photo spots, the shop also makes exquisite desserts, paying attention to both appearance and taste.

If you visit Nakhon Pathom, be sure to stop by Saneh Chan.

Thank you for reading this far. :)
