Hello friends, this is a travel log for Number6's second play.
This time, there is no travel atmosphere to show you. However, I would like to introduce a new tourist attraction that is still beautiful and magnificent. It was officially announced as a tourist attraction in the middle of 2017.
*Note: Many people may have already been there, but I just went there, so it's new to me. Haha (Just kidding, it doesn't hurt).
Let's listen to the story and pass it on as a legend to future generations...
The location I will be writing about in this log is "Khun Sathan National Park" in Nan Province, near Doi Samer Dao, about 50 minutes away for those who enjoy driving and taking in the scenery (I mean driving slowly to enjoy the atmosphere, mountain views, trees, and cool air).
The incident occurred around the Thai New Year, in late December. The cool, comfortable weather was so tempting, inviting us to find a place to pitch a tent and experience the cold, which is very rare in Thailand.
I embarked on an extensive search for travel destinations, uncovering a plethora of stunning locations throughout Thailand. My initial itinerary included Pha Tang, Huai Nam Dang, Doi Ang Khang, and the highly popular Pang Ung. However, the undisputed highlight was Doi Inthanon, a place that initially did not even cross my mind. I ultimately decided to visit Pang Ung, captivated by its breathtaking beauty as showcased in Facebook reviews.
I set off at around 3:05 AM and drove from Chonburi to the first gas station and my first cup of coffee in Nakhon Sawan. While I was resting and sipping my coffee, I scrolled through Facebook and came across a post on the Unseen Thailand page that said "Khun Sathan, 360-degree sea of mist." I was immediately tempted, but I was still determined to go to "Pang Ung." Then I went into 7-Eleven to buy some supplies, and a group of beautiful girls were talking about how beautiful Khun Sathan was and how the mist was amazing.
That was the turning point that made me change my route from Pang Ung, which would have taken another 9 hours or so, to Khun Sathan National Park without hesitation. The journey was very convenient. Just open Google Maps and drive straight there. The road is comfortable, well-maintained, and has few potholes. My ECO car had no problems navigating it (most tourists are elderly, and there are houses available for rent).
Upon arriving at Khun Sathan National Park, I informed the staff that I would be staying overnight and paid the service fee (when I went, the staff said it was up to me to pay because the park had just opened and had not yet set a registration fee). After completing the registration, I went to find a suitable place to pitch my tent and cook dinner to eat alone! (The park allows cooking and has a convenience store available.)
Note: The written description ends at this line. The rest of the content will be presented through the images I have captured in a random manner.
This is the path leading to the highest point of the park, which is the "Stargazing Platform".
This is my sleeping spot. I escaped the crowds at the viewpoint and came to sleep on the other side of the park. The view here is just as stunning. However, to see the sea of mist and sunrise, you'll need to head to the viewpoint, which is just a short walk away.
That's all the beautiful pictures I have. I'll take my leave now.
If your friends want to go out but no one wants to go with you, try it! Try going by yourself and you won't need anyone else! Thank you for reading. I will write again next time! (If there are any mistakes, I apologize.)
Live your life on your own terms.
