Hello everyone, I'm back with another food review! This time, I'm taking you to a restaurant that my mom has been raving about. We finally had some time during the New Year holidays, so we took the whole family to check it out. The restaurant is called "Baan Pla Jum" and it's located in the Nawamin City Avenue Evernew Phase 2 project on Kaset-Nawamin Road.

Upon arrival, one must order the restaurant's signature dish, the fish hotpot. The restaurant uses sea bass for this dish (pork hotpot is also available).
I took a picture of my parents, but then I realized I forgot to take a picture of the food menu. Haha.
The restaurant offers two dipping sauces: seafood sauce and fermented soybean paste with ginger sauce (similar to chicken rice sauce).
The fragrant broth is infused with a rich blend of aromatic spices, including galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, shallots, ginger, and bird's eye chili.
Once the water boils, add the vegetables.
Followed by fish and eggs
It's ready to eat now!
Fresh, odorless fish meat with flavorful broth.
The translation of the sentence is: "I tried the corn salad and it was delicious, but it was a bit expensive at 100 baht per plate."
The deep-fried pork exceeded expectations. The meat was tender, not tough at all, and had a fragrant sesame aroma.
Next is the Lao dish, which we really like. Their fish sauce has a fragrant shrimp paste aroma, which we love.
Sea bass fried with fish sauce
The final dish was red syrup-soaked bread with pickled radish. Despite the small serving dish, it contained almost 10 thick slices of bread.
Followed by chewy, soft, and springy grass jelly.
Intrigued by the unique flavor, we purchased a bottle of fish sauce to take home. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
