Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and head to Coro Field Melon Farm in Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature as you pick fresh vegetables, plant trees, and savor the sweetness of juicy melons. Indulge in organic culinary delights and rediscover the simple pleasures of life.
Upon arrival, a light drizzle fell, casting a gray veil over the sky. Despite the rain, the air remained pleasantly cool and refreshing.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the adorable mascot of the farm, Korokoro-kun, who entertained us with its various poses.
The Enchanting Morning Glory: A Moment of Floral Beauty
We were fortunate to witness the captivating bloom of the Morning Glory, aptly named for its tendency to unfurl its petals with the rising sun. While the skies were overcast during our visit, a stroke of luck allowed us to capture its ephemeral beauty.
Unfortunately, the tomato picking and melon farm tour activities are not yet available.
Although I couldn't enter to pick tomatoes, I was still able to take some pictures from outside.
Upon arriving at the garden, write your wishes on an "ema," a wooden plaque, to seek blessings from the deities.
Next, we will engage in a salad planting and harvesting activity, which will be divided into time slots.
There are bicycles available for rent and play.
The CORO GIY corner is a must-visit for plant lovers and those seeking relaxation. This zone offers a unique opportunity to design and decorate your own plants, providing a truly immersive and personalized experience.
The interior will feature a selection of trees for you to choose from. (Prices vary depending on the type of tree.)
Upon selecting a tree, you will receive a tree sponsorship certificate, signifying your commitment to its care. You will also be given the opportunity to name your adopted tree.
The pot can then be decorated with colorful stones, cute dolls, colorful magic pens, and stamps, according to our imagination.
In addition to the DIY bottle garden, there are also other options to choose from. Not only will you receive a plant to care for, but it will also be a great time to sit and do activities as a family. Or, for couples, it's a warm and lovely sight to see.
Feeling peckish, we headed to CORO Cafe, which boasts a minimalist interior design.
The restaurant's dishes exceed expectations in terms of flavor, thanks to the meticulous selection of premium ingredients sourced from local farms and imported from abroad.
This melon salad is not only bursting with the sweetness of the melon, but also features plump, juicy tomatoes that are both sweet and crunchy. The tomatoes here are a Dutch variety, available in both red and yellow. The farm's produce is so delicious that you'll want to buy fresh melons and tomatoes as souvenirs to take home.
The meal concludes with a refreshing melon ice cream served with crispy roti. The ice cream's sweet and slightly tart flavor complements the perfectly fried roti. A dollop of whipped cream adds a touch of indulgence. This dessert is truly a delight, and its deliciousness cannot be overstated.
With full stomachs and happy hearts, it was time for the final stop: souvenir shopping. We headed straight to CORO Market.
This is an organic farm-to-table operation, guaranteeing freshness and quality. Not only are the fruits here specially cared for, but each tree is also nourished with mineral water.
Following our promise, we couldn't resist purchasing Tomi Melon, a melon with a golden rind and a stunningly clear green flesh. Its most notable characteristic is its exceptional fragrance, making it an ideal gift for loved ones. We also picked up our favorite tomatoes, which are grown in Holland and come in both red and yellow varieties. These tomatoes are sweeter than typical tomatoes, and we encourage those who dislike tomatoes to give them a try; you might just change your mind.
In addition to this, there are also products
A wide variety of other products are available for purchase, including Japanese sweet potatoes, salad dressings, and souvenirs.
Don't forget! Keep your receipts from your farm purchases, as you can exchange them for souvenirs from the farm.
It's time to go home. It's incredible that this small farm could keep us entertained all day long without getting bored. Every activity we did was done at a leisurely pace, without any rush. This was truly a happy trip, and if we have the chance, we will definitely come back to CORO FIELD farm again.
