Na Saran is a contemporary Lanna-Chinese architectural hotel run as a family business. The initial intention before opening was to create a residence for the grandmother. Later, the idea arose to share some of the house's rooms with relatives, friends, and guests visiting Chiang Mai. This led to the creation of Na Saran Hotel as it is known today.

Here... just opened at the end of 2017. It is a small hotel, but it is warm and friendly. It feels like staying at a relative's house. The hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai, about 3 kilometers from Tha Pae Gate. The atmosphere here is quite peaceful and not chaotic. It is a great place to relax, read a book, and spend a night.

In addition to the above, the hotel also offers a variety of interesting activities. Guests are sure to find something to keep them entertained, as there are always new experiences to be had. These activities include workshops on local cuisine and traditional Chiang Mai crafts (with special discounts for guests who are interested), screenings of documentaries and independent films every month, and other special activities that vary depending on the season.

Check-in at the Lobby

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the lobby, which seamlessly blends Lanna and Chinese architectural styles. The hotel's modern and clean aesthetic is immediately apparent.

Upon check-in, guests can enter the hotel, where a small garden with a miniature waterfall serves as a central attraction. Previously, before its transformation into a waterfall, the space was an old pond. The architect ingeniously redesigned the area, converting the pond into a waterfall that emits a gentle, soothing sound of flowing water, creating a relaxing ambiance for guests. Nearby, a designated seating area provides a tranquil spot for reading, lounging, or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere.

Regarding the accommodation, it is a three-story building. Before entering the building, you must change into slippers. This makes the place very clean.

The hallway on the first floor of the building is adjacent to the garden, creating a refreshing and inviting atmosphere.

The building has a total of 14 rooms spread across 3 floors.

The building can only be accessed by stairs. The stairs are made of wood, which feels comfortable to walk on, but be careful not to slip. If you look closely, you will see that the logos of the hotel are hidden in the various wood carvings, both on the stairs and on the balcony.

The hallway is designed to feel more like a home than a hotel.

At the end of each corridor, there is a storage cabinet.

The storage cabinet, as mentioned, is a bookcase where guests can freely choose and read books. However, please remember to return them to their original location.

From the third floor, I looked down at the small garden below. The atmosphere looked lush and pleasant.

Saran Residence offers a total of 3 room types, including:

1. Deluxe Double Room 31.5 square meters, 1 King Size bed for 2 guests.

2. Deluxe Twin Room A 31.5 square meter room with 2 beds, suitable for 2 guests.

3. Family Room A 63-square-meter room with a bedroom and living room, suitable for a family of three.

All rooms are decorated in a similar style, with minor variations such as bed size or room size. However, the overall style is consistent throughout. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing.

The first room type we will be looking at is the Deluxe Double Room. This room is 31.5 square meters and comes with a king-size bed, making it ideal for two guests. The room is spacious and well-appointed, with modern amenities such as air conditioning, a safe, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a minibar, and a radio with Bluetooth speakers.

A towel and a handkerchief are in the basket on the bed.

For those who want to truly rest, there are also earplugs to block out any noise. Sleep soundly without any disturbance.

Chairs are for sitting, and desks are for working.

The service includes bottled water and tea sets with a variety of fragrant teas for guests to enjoy.

The most interesting thing is probably this: "Entertainment" is the name of the speaker that is like entertainment in the room (Deluxe Double Room and Deluxe Twin Room do not have a TV but have "Entertainment" in the room). It can be used to listen to radio waves or as a Bluetooth speaker. It looks pretty cool too.

I love drinking water from glass bottles like this... It's so refreshing! Or you can buy other drinks and store them in the refrigerator.

Let's take a look at the bathroom. It's a decent size, with the shower area sectioned off as a small room.

The shower features a rain showerhead, allowing you to adjust the water temperature to your preference for a refreshing and enjoyable shower experience.

The liquid soap and shampoo here are made with natural herbs and have a pleasant, relaxing scent.

The sink can also be adjusted to cold or hot water as needed. No need to worry about being cold if you visit during the winter.

Amenities include a hairdryer in the bathroom.

The next room type is the Deluxe Twin Room, which is similar to the Deluxe Double Room in all aspects except for the bed configuration.

The Ultimate Family Retreat: Family Room

The Family Room, designed for families of three, is our most spacious accommodation. This expansive room offers a dedicated sleeping area and a separate living space, providing ample room for relaxation and togetherness.

Equipped with every modern convenience, the Family Room ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all.

Unlike the first two types of rooms, this one also features an antique-style dressing table.

The bedroom and living room can be separated by a large curtain.

The living room offers ample space for both relaxation and work, with dedicated areas for lounging and a work desk.

Only the Family Room has a TV.

This room is the only one with a bathtub in the bathroom. All other rooms have the same amenities.

Evening at Saran

During the night, the pleasant atmosphere allows you to relax in the garden. You can sit, lie down, rest, or read a book, creating a different kind of atmosphere. Before falling asleep tonight...

Good morning from Saran, where the air is fresh and bright.

Guests staying here... will be provided with breakfast. The breakfast will be a set menu with main dishes that change according to the ingredients available each day. In addition, there are other snacks available, such as bread, steamed dumplings, tea, coffee, and various fruits. These are available for self-service..

The breakfast room is located on the ground floor. In addition to serving breakfast, this room also functions as a multipurpose space for activities such as meetings, workshops, and movie screenings. The venue regularly hosts screenings of independent films once a month.
