01. Emerald Pool
01. Emerald Pool
The first destination of the Krabi trip without caring about the sea "Emerald Pool". If you want to take beautiful photos, it is recommended to come early in the morning. It opens from 8.30 am onwards. This way, we will get a picture of the emerald pool that is truly emerald. Hahaha, and most importantly, coming here early in the morning will be very peaceful. The atmosphere is good, the water is very clear.
The translation of "02 . น้ำตกร้อน" from Thai to English is "02. Hot Waterfall".
2. Hot Waterfall
This is another very beautiful place. The nature is slow, and the hot spring flows through a rock layer that looks like a bathtub, allowing us to lie down and soak. It's cool to take it slow. The temperature is around 40-50 degrees. It's recommended to come in the morning, because if it's a little later, it's like a market. There's almost no place to soak.
03. Khlong Sa Kaeo
3. Khlong Sra Kaew
This hidden gem is a true gem, unknown to many. Its serene atmosphere and crystal-clear waters, teeming with small fish, offer a breathtaking sight. The vibrant blue hue of the water makes it difficult to gauge its depth. Located conveniently along a concrete road, Khlong Sra Kaew is a must-visit for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.
04. Tha Pom Mangrove Forest
4. Pru Toa Pom - Khlong Song Nam
A swamp forest with abundant mangrove trees and various plants. It is a canal that carries clear water from the spring. The entrance fee is 20 baht per person. The atmosphere inside is peaceful, the air is fresh, there is a nature study trail, and there is a point where you can swim.
05. Tiger Cave Temple
5. Tiger Cave Temple
Located approximately 4-5 kilometers from Krabi town, this temple is believed to have been inhabited by tigers in the past, as evidenced by the tiger paw-shaped rock formation found within the cave. Situated on flat land, the temple features a white jade Buddha statue and a replica of the Buddha's footprint on the mountaintop. Visitors are strongly advised to bring water or energy drinks before ascending the mountain.
The stairs were very steep, and I almost gave up halfway up.
This was the most challenging location of the trip. My initial plan was to capture the morning atmosphere from the top of the mountain to get a stunning view of the sea of mist. I surveyed the area in the evening and almost fainted when I saw the sign indicating over 1,200 steps to the top. The path was incredibly steep and dangerous, with a high risk of falling. There were also a lot of monkeys, making it unsuitable for a solo climb in the early morning darkness. I decided to grab my camera and start climbing in the evening. It was incredibly tiring, but I finally reached the top. The view was breathtaking, offering a 360-degree panorama of Krabi city.
