Tired of Sushi, Craving Thai Food

Have you ever felt like everywhere you turn, there's nothing but Japanese food? Sometimes, all you want is a delicious Thai meal, but it's nowhere to be found. Well, today, we're going to satisfy that Thai food craving! We're heading to Ladprao in search of something spicy and flavorful.

Coincidentally, I've been wanting to try "Kiew Kai Ga" for a while now, and today seems like the perfect opportunity. Let's dive into this culinary adventure!

The restaurant boasts a lush, verdant atmosphere with two distinct zones: a dining area and a café. The entire space is adorned in a calming teal color scheme, creating a visually soothing and relaxing ambiance. The menu features a tempting array of dishes, each meticulously crafted and presented. The sheer variety is enough to make one's mouth water, but on this occasion, we opted for a modest selection of three dishes to avoid overindulging.

The pleasant weather enticed me to dine outdoors today, as the midday heat was surprisingly absent. Additionally, the glass-enclosed dining area tends to be crowded during the day.

The food has arrived! It was delivered quickly and efficiently. I ordered three dishes: pork stew, crab curry with betel leaves, and stir-fried pork belly with salt. Let's start tasting!

The braised pork leg is a must-try. The broth is fragrant and not too sweet, with a perfect balance of flavors. The pork belly is full of flavor and melts in your mouth. The braised egg is also delicious.

The signature dish here is the spicy crab curry with cha-om leaves. It's packed with generous chunks of crab meat, not just scraps. I'm not sure if they use shrimp paste, but I think I detected a hint of it. Regardless, it's a must-order for almost every table.

To combat the lingering spice, we turn to the crispy, salty goodness of deep-fried pork belly. Its savory notes pair perfectly with steaming hot rice, creating an instant culinary masterpiece that requires no further embellishment. Applause all around!

After a satisfying meal, it's time to explore the shop and take some photos. Don't forget to bring your camera, as there are plenty of beautiful spots to capture.
