Chanthaburi is another province that city dwellers like us think of when we want to relax.
The journey is not too long, the sea is beautiful and peaceful, the food is delicious, perfect for a short break this time!! I am truly overjoyed.

The purpose of Grace's visit to Chanthaburi this time is to feed the sharks!!
And relax by the sea. Let's see if we can feed the sharks.
We embarked on our journey in a private car, so we were not in a hurry to leave Bangkok. Around 10:00 AM, we arrived in Chanthaburi. Our first destination was the Nang Phaya Viewpoint, a famous tourist spot in the area.

Upon arrival, the place was bustling with visitors, as it is a renowned viewpoint attracting numerous tourists seeking to soak in the ambiance. The panoramic vista that unfolds before one's eyes is breathtaking. It is highly recommended to visit during the time when the sun is nearing its descent, as one can witness the mesmerizing spectacle of the sun setting over the horizon, creating an unforgettable and romantic atmosphere.
As darkness fell, we drove to our accommodation, the Chaolao Toa Sang Beach Hotel, which was only a 20-minute drive from the viewpoint. It was very convenient.

This beachfront hotel offers direct access to the crystal-clear sea, perfect for swimming and water activities. The pristine beach is ideal for families with children and adults alike.
For dinner tonight, I entrusted my late-night cravings to the hotel's restaurant, which has a good reputation. The food was delicious.
I only managed to take a picture of this much, the rest is already in my stomach. I'm so hungry, sorry everyone.
This is a view from our room. The building is located at the back. However, if you want a room by the sea, they also have it. But when I went, the room was full, so I got a room far from the sea. The bedroom can accommodate 3-4 people. The room is clean and spacious.
Waking up to the beautiful morning atmosphere was truly delightful. The gentle sunlight and breakfast by the sea made me forget all about stress and work. It was pure relaxation. I walked to the same restaurant as last night for breakfast.
After lunch, let's take a walk to digest our food and enjoy the gentle waves of the sea.
This is a beachfront room with a stunning view. It's a shame it's fully booked, otherwise it would have been perfect.
It was time to check out. After getting dressed, we set out to fulfill the main purpose of our trip to Chanthaburi: feeding the sharks at the Aquatic Animal Demonstration Unit in Ao Kung Kraben Bay, just 10 minutes from our accommodation.

Grace arrived around 10 am, thinking there wouldn't be many people, but to her surprise, it was already starting to get crowded.
Before entering, there is a fish market with white fish. I don't remember the price, but it was probably around 30-50 baht.
The goal was not achieved. By the time we arrived, the sharks were likely already full and did not swim up to be seen. We were disappointed, but it was not a big deal. We will come back again soon since it is not far from here.
Our two-day, one-night trip to Chanthaburi has come to an end. We were able to relax and unwind completely. Even though we didn't get to feed the sharks, we still had a great time. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend adding Chanthaburi to your list of options.
