Readme before you journey
The intense heat is a clear sign that the hot season has arrived in full force.
In this sweltering summer heat, a trip to the beach is a must.
This trip will take us to Chanthaburi province, where we will visit the Pink Stone Field at Khao Laem Sing and spend the night at Peggy's Cove Resort.
Our journey begins in Bangkok, where we embark on a long drive along Highway 7.
Then turn onto Highway 344 heading towards Klaeng District, Rayong Province.

Along this road, there is a noteworthy spot called Suan Lamoi, which is known for hosting an annual durian buffet.
When I arrived, there was no one there, so I drove straight ahead.
Turn left at A. Klaeng onto Sukhumvit Road and drive straight to Haad Chao Lao.
Upon reaching Haad Chao Lao, drive straight to the end of the road leading to Pak Nam Khaem Nu.
Follow the sign to turn right for the Pink Rock Field.

The Pink Rock Field is located within the Kung Kraben Wildlife Sanctuary. It features a parking lot, accommodation, and a camping area.
Restroom and shower facilities are available. Entrance fees: Adults 20 baht per person, children and senior citizens free. Cars 60 baht, motorcycles 20 baht.
Upon arrival, we discovered that the vast expanse of the stone courtyard was a striking shade of reddish-pink.
The seawater is very clear during the hot season.
If you come at the right time, you might have the chance to see butterflies.
Children are welcome to play in the water here.

Today, we will be tie-dyeing fabrics. It's a simple and easy process, as the resort has already prepared everything we need.
The workshop also included instruction on creating tie-dye patterns.
As the sun began to set and the wind calmed, we went to play in the water.
The main swimming pool is located here, near the reception.
However, we prefer the simulated stream pool, which appears more inviting.

It's time for dinner!
This evening, we dined at Lighthouse Bar & Grill.
The menu mainly features Thai dishes and European-style seafood, including mushroom soup, Caesar salad, and carbonara.
Black peppercorn steak, followed by a decadent dessert: chocolate lava cake.
Let's take a look at the evening atmosphere before bed.

We continued our culinary exploration with breakfast at a local establishment.
Lighthouse Bar & Grill as usual.
The breakfast buffet includes tea, coffee, bread, orange juice, chrysanthemum tea, rice porridge, ham, and pork sausage.
Chicken sausage, fried egg, omelette, rolled egg, and omelet.

After lunch, we took the little one to play in the water for a while longer because the sun wasn't too strong yet.
