What is there to do in Koh Samui?

Greetings! On the 7th of this month, we had the pleasure of visiting Koh Samui, and we're eager to share our experience with you. Koh Samui is a stunning island on the Thai coast, offering a plethora of attractions and activities. Let's dive into the wonders that await you in this tropical paradise!

Travel Day Koh Samui

Our journey began at the pier, where we boarded a ferry to Koh Samui. It was a Saturday, and the crowd was immense, making for a rather cramped journey. The ferry ticket cost 140 baht per person.

After purchasing the boat ticket, we waited for a while before boarding. The boat was large and had two decks. Those who prefer comfort and air conditioning can choose to sit on the lower deck. However, if you prefer to enjoy the natural breeze and view, you can choose to sit on the upper deck. Personally, I chose to sit on the upper deck because I was afraid of getting seasick.

This is a picture from the boat. The sea is beautiful, isn't it? The weather was amazing when we went. Oh, you can bring your car if you want to take it to the island. I don't remember the price anymore, so if you're planning to go, ask about the price yourself. Hehe.

The Thai coast is just as beautiful as the Andaman Sea, wouldn't you agree?

Oh, it's our friend! We came here with a large group this time. See the background? This is the perfect spot for those who want to relax and enjoy the view.

The weather is pleasant and breezy up here. It takes about an hour and a half by boat to reach Koh Samui.

Let's go. We've arrived at Koh Samui. Let's get off the boat.

Before disembarking, passengers must walk through the lower seating area. The area is air-conditioned and equipped with TVs, but it may not be suitable for those prone to seasickness. Please queue up to exit the boat and avoid pushing or cutting in line. Everyone, please remain calm.

We have arrived at Koh Samui. We got off the boat and immediately looked for a van to take us into town. We rented a motorbike to drive around the island. It's very convenient to rent a motorbike when you're on the island. It's super relaxing!

We boarded the van, but I don't recall the fare. It was unpredictable, haha. We took the van to Central to rent a car.

I have arrived at Central. The mall here is an open-air mall, so there is no air conditioning in the walkways. It can get a bit hot, haha. I haven't seen many Thai people here, mostly foreigners. I didn't take many photos, but if you want to see more, stay tuned for the video after the review. We'll have a video for you to watch, hehe.

After renting a car, we drove to our accommodation. The car rental fee was 150 baht per car.

The hotel we chose to stay at is called The Room Samui. We booked it through Traveloka for 780 baht per night.

This is the walkway. The view is beautiful, isn't it? You can see the sea far in the distance. Haha.

This is a room in each room. It's very comfortable. The price is not expensive and it's located on Chaweng Beach. It's very convenient for traveling.

After we put our belongings away, we had some papaya salad. I don't have any pictures of the food because everyone was so hungry that we only took pictures after we finished eating. Haha! I also forgot to take a picture of the restaurant's name. Oops! I would rate the food at this restaurant 8/10.

We then went to a restaurant called Teen Dek Koh, a casual and relaxed eatery with delicious food. Highly recommended! You should definitely check it out.

The first dish I recommend is Tom Yum Noodle Soup. It's incredibly delicious! Can everyone see the egg yolk? It's so soft and melts in your mouth. Everything in this bowl is delicious. 10/10, definitely give it a try!

The second recommended menu is Mama Tom Yum, which gives the same feeling as the previous bowl. But the most amazing thing in every bowl is the egg yolk. It's so delicious! 10/10.

Another dish I would like to recommend is the "Thung Thang," but it doesn't come in a "Thang" (bucket). It comes in a plate. Haha, let's call it a plate of shrimp.

The soup in this dish is incredibly delicious. The crispy wontons, when dipped in the soup, create an even more delightful flavor explosion.

The prawns were huge, not kidding! The oysters were also very meaty. Wow, I'm hungry again just thinking about it. Oh well, 10/10 for sure.

After a satisfying meal, let's head to the beach for some fun in the sun. The bustling Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui is the perfect spot. The weather is fantastic, so let's dive into the refreshing water and capture some memorable photos.

This is a picture of our friends who joined the trip together. Let's watch the video. We also recorded a video for everyone to watch. Let's go!
