Few know of the hidden world that lies beneath the surface of our own, a world of breathtaking beauty, captivating mystery, and endless wonder. This is the realm of the underwater world, a realm that beckons us to explore its depths and uncover its secrets. Within easy reach, just a short journey away, lies the Sattahip Sea in Chonburi Province, Thailand. Here, the allure of the underwater world awaits, inviting us to immerse ourselves in its captivating embrace.
Conveniently accessible, Sattahip is a well-known destination located within an hour's drive from Pattaya. We scheduled a boat trip for 8:00 AM to enjoy the early morning hours and avoid the intense heat. The small fish were just waking up and playfully swimming around. We rented a small, single-engine boat for approximately 3,000 baht, with a duration from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The boat will provide cold water and some snacks. The boat will depart from the pier and head to the nearby island. The journey takes about 20 minutes to reach the snorkeling practice point. As it is a shallow water area, practice using the diving mask first. However, it is a point where the water is clear and there are many fish. The main attraction is the little Nemo fish that swims with the sea trees, which can be called its habitat. They are very cute. We dive down to see them up close, as if they were our own family.
We spent approximately 30 minutes at the first location before moving on to the second and third. The second and third locations boasted stronger currents than the first, but they were also more visually stunning and not far from the initial spot. We spent about an hour and a half admiring these two locations, feeling completely satisfied. At the second location, there were some sea urchins, so we had to be careful. The highlight of the third location was a single, magnificent red gorgonian coral. If you visit, be sure to take a picture with it to show off to your friends!

This event is for skilled divers who can capture stunning underwater images of fish, coral, and gorgonians without using a life jacket.
