This is a great time for families to travel together, as it is the school holidays and both young and older children have time to spend with their parents. (Or do they?) They don't have to go to school and can't find time to go anywhere. But if there's one thing that's not good about this trip, it's the storm and heavy rain. (Why does it have to rain so hard on the day I go on a trip?)

Six individuals, including a grandmother, aunt, uncle, and three grandchildren, braved the rain to join a mother-daughter duo in Pattaya. Their journey began at 8 am, but heavy rain, flooding, and traffic congestion delayed their arrival until the afternoon. The eight travelers, who had met at a roadside gas station, continued their journey to their destination. However, before reaching their destination, the young girl from Chonburi expressed a desire for ice cream despite the gloomy weather. Despite the suggestion of Ovaltine, the group decided to indulge her request and stopped at Silver Lake for ice cream before proceeding to Ramayana Water Park, their intended destination.

Do not mention the children of the temple in the big car. Their hearts are already at the water park. The aunt had to trick them by saying, "Oh! It's a vineyard, son." We also had to stop to check in. That's when the grandchildren agreed to get out of the car and eat ice cream at Silver Lake. But as I said, it didn't waste any time because, to be honest, Silver Lake is like being right outside the alley. As for Ramayana Water Park, it's at the end of the alley, that's all.

Ice Cream Gang

After finishing ice cream, no one listened to Eilakla. Eilam led her aunt to get in the car to go to the water park. She had to go. She had been sitting waiting for that long. How could she let the others wait? They woke up at five in the morning. Aunt A didn't get to sleep. She had to rush to bring her. She ended up making a promise to the child. That's how it is, dear reader.

And finally, we arrived at "Ramayana Water Park Pattaya". Let's go and get the tickets to enter the water park. Even though we bought the tickets online, which is cheaper than buying them at the park entrance (online ticket sales channel: https://www.ramayanawaterpark.co.th/select-tickets...), we were still impressed by the staff at the ticket booth. The water park has staff who are ready to assist with ticket purchases and recommend various promotions to customers. It can be said that the service is excellent, regardless of the price.

In addition to offering promotional services and issuing cards, I recently discovered that they also provide direct bus services from Bangkok to Ramayana Water Park. So, kids, you can come here on your own next time. (Bus services to Ramayana Water Park are available here: https://www.ramayanawaterpark.co.th/shuttle-service/)

After contacting the card issuing channel, we will each receive a Wristband. Wear it on your wrist, child. Then let's study the information from the map first, child. We have limited time, so let's focus on what we want to play, child.

Note: I have translated the phrase "แผนที่สวนน้ำรามายณะ พัทยา" to "Ramayana Water Park Pattaya Map" in English. I have also kept the HTML structure intact.

As we were a large group, and one of us was celebrating a birthday, we took advantage of the birthday promotion for both ticket and cabana bookings, which offered a better price than the regular promotions (Birthday promotion: https://www.ramayanawaterpark.co.th/birthday-party/). We chose a cabana on the hill, number 12 (Hill 12), as it provided a good view of the water park from above and offered more privacy than the cabanas located near the beach. We were a large group, and we didn't want to disturb the other park guests, who were mostly young and boisterous.

The back of our cabana has a large slide.

Before we do anything else, we need to eat first. This is for the peace of mind of the world, of which my aunt and grandmother are the main members. Let's go find something to eat. Don't worry about how much the children want to play in the water. We need to make them eat first because they will be hungry after playing, and it will be difficult for us to find something for them to eat then. So, it's better to eat now.

The Lake Restaurant at Ramayana Water Park Pattaya

The restaurant at Ramayana Water Park Pattaya is called The Lake Restaurant. It is located in the middle of the water park and offers a variety of food options, including buffet, single dishes, and group dishes. The menu ranges from simple to extravagant, so there is something for everyone. It is a good thing that we did not bring our own food, as it is not allowed in the park.

As we looked around, the waiter brought us a menu, along with a piece of paper for us to write down the food codes and the number of dishes we wanted. Wow! As soon as it was placed on the table, everyone started jotting down their orders like they were filling out a lottery ticket. There was no need for the aunt to check anything; we just had to pay. The food orders were then sent to the kitchen to be prepared and delivered to the customers' tables. But first, we were given a pager to let us know when our food was ready.

Ambiance of the dining room

While waiting for food

The children were very interested, each with their own vivid imaginations. The young boy said it was a bomb, the eldest sister said it was a flying saucer, and the middle child (the biggest) said he didn't know, he was hungry. They all sat around waiting for the machine to give a signal. Then, the time for food arrived when the machine beeped and a red light flashed around it.

My nieces and nephews are all adorable and easy to use. They ran to the counter to get food in a row. It's not that they want to eat quickly, but they want to go swimming.

Drink water and wait peacefully.

Tender and juicy chicken satay

The First Dish: Chicken Satay

The first dish to arrive was chicken satay. I usually avoid chicken satay because I find the meat to be tough, especially when it's breast meat. However, since there was no pork available and chicken is generally child-friendly, we decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the chicken was not tough at all! While the flavor and aroma were relatively mild, the satay sauce was the star of the show. Its sweet and savory notes perfectly complemented the tangy and sweet peanut sauce. This dish was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the tender and juicy chicken breast. The satay sauce had a unique flavor that I haven't encountered elsewhere. It's worth noting that, like all the other dishes, the chicken satay only made a single appearance and then vanished forever.

In addition, there are shrimp cakes and fried cheese that children will love very much. Of course, it can't make it to us.

Sticky rice, papaya salad, and grilled chicken

This dish was ordered by Aw. It's sticky rice with papaya salad and grilled chicken. She ordered enough for a child, but she's the only one eating the papaya salad. She's not sharing it with anyone. She said she ordered it, so she'll eat it. I just tore off some of the tender chicken and put it in my mouth with a ball of sticky rice. We chewed and chatted.

The papaya salad that Khun Aow confiscated, she said it would be better if it were made with fermented crab and fish.

Shrimp dumplings, your grandmother's appetizer

This shrimp dumpling dish was ordered by your grandmother. She couldn't finish it all herself, so she shared one with her granddaughter.

Grandma's shrimp wonton noodles.

Like this dish, the shrimp wonton noodles made by your grandmother. By your grandmother and your grandmother. Done. Then which one is your aunt's?

Salmon salad, this is from Khun Mae, Chonburi.

This salmon salad is from my mother in Chonburi. She kindly shared it with me. Not that I needed it, but she wanted to compete with the children for other dishes. Otherwise, she would be full and wouldn't be able to try everything. Haha! She's so kind! This salad is very fresh, with both the fish and the vegetables. The tomatoes are thick and juicy, and the cucumbers are thinly sliced and crisp. The salad dressing is a clear, sweet and sour sauce that complements the fish perfectly. It's a refreshing and delicious dish.

French fries (head style)

This dish only appeared briefly in front of me and then disappeared forever. In reality, this dish is a recommended dish that can be eaten by both children and adults. The whole potato is washed, sliced, seasoned, and fried in hot oil with a little salt. Who would have thought it would be so delicious?

Another beef hamburger for Khun Aow (which one is for auntie)?

This adorable dish is served in a wicker basket with French fries. However, it's quite large and a bit difficult to eat, so I ended up eating most of it. The burger patty is thick, tender, and very juicy. It pairs perfectly with the soft bun, thick cheese slice, and fresh, crispy vegetables, making this burger incredibly delicious. As mentioned before, the size makes it a bit challenging to eat.

Spaghetti Carbonara, a Kid-Friendly Favorite

Spaghetti Carbonara is a surefire hit when ordering food for the kids in this house. When I can't think of anything else, I order it first. This time, I ordered it without even looking at the menu, and I must say, I was not disappointed. The perfectly cooked pasta was just the right balance of chewy and tender. The only downside was that the Carbonara sauce was a bit sparse, and when tossed with the pasta, it unfortunately disappeared completely. It's a shame, because it was so delicious - sweet and creamy, only to vanish before our eyes. Come on, spaghetti, give us some more of that Carbonara sauce!

Hanuman Pizza

Wow! I thought there would be monkeys serving us! But no, the ingredients are listed on the menu. However, this page features the restaurant's recommendations and best-selling dishes. We had to try them, so we ordered two: the Hanuman and the Hawaiian.

Hawaiian Pizza

The Hanuman pizza differs from the typical Hawaiian pizza by including thin slices of sausage, adding a unique flavor. The Hawaiian pizza here is distinguished by the addition of chopped onions, which enhance the sweetness of the pizza.

The pizzas here are famous for their delicious toppings and generous amounts of cheese. The stretchy cheese provides endless fun for children, who enjoy pulling it apart and seeing who can stretch it the furthest. The thin-crust pizzas are perfectly crispy, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite. The thick layer of cheese adds a delightful chewiness, making these pizzas ideal for a beach or seaside meal.

Sticky Rice with Mango

The dessert was mango sticky rice, but not just any sticky rice. It was pandan-infused sticky rice, which may have contributed to its slightly mushy texture. I suspect they used freshly harvested sticky rice, which can be a bit softer. However, the sweetness and richness were spot-on, especially when paired with the fresh, sweet-tasting water lily mangoes. Overall, it was a good dessert, but it would have been even better if the sticky rice had been more firm and less mushy.

The chaotic dining atmosphere at Al-Morn Baan Thongsai.

The table is full.

Sure, we're done eating and ready to go. Let's get ready to explore the water park!
