Saturdays are often a day of relaxation for many. Some people may choose to stay home and relax, while others may choose to go on vacation. However, this family enjoys eating out, and today we are trying the SATURDAY BRUNCH at Prime+ Prime restaurant on the 7th floor of the Compass SkyView Hotel.

Compass SkyView Hotel is located in Sukhumvit Soi 24, a short walk from the main road on the right-hand side (facing away from Sukhumvit Road). It is a relatively new hotel, having been open for only two years according to the staff. Now, let's return to our SATURDAY BRUNCH. The SATURDAY BRUNCH we visited today is located on the 7th floor at the Prime+Prime restaurant, which is only open on Saturdays (hence the name SATURDAY BRUNCH). On other days, Prime+Prime operates as a steakhouse.

We have arrived on the 7th floor.

Upon arrival, the welcoming staff greeted us with warm smiles and inquired about the number of guests. They informed us of the service fees and additional options available, and then guided us to a suitable table for our family.

Beverage service, including fruit juices, sparkling wine, and more.

Once everyone was seated, it was time to explore the buffet and see what was on offer.

Sparkling wine available for service.

Comfortable seating with a beautiful classic decor.

The food service here is organized into various stations, including a hot kitchen, a cold kitchen, and a beverage counter. Upon entering and passing the beverage section, you will encounter the steak station, which offers tender and juicy ribs. You can choose between mushroom sauce and black pepper sauce, and friendly staff are available to assist you.

Next up is the Italian food counter, where a renowned chef will prepare dishes for you. This is the place to be for all your spaghetti cravings, as they offer a variety of spaghetti sauces and Risotto di riso, a creamy rice dish.

The chef is cooking spaghetti.

"Risotto" is a rare sight on buffet menus in our country. This establishment, however, offers it as a unique service. After cooking, the risotto is tossed in a large block of Parmesan cheese, infusing it with a rich, aromatic, and creamy flavor. The soft and smooth texture of the rice complements the various ingredients, particularly the main components of shrimp and salmon.

Next to the two food service counters, we will find a juice bar, which now also serves desserts. There are various Thai desserts, ice cream, mousse, and cream cheese. But what I really liked was that they served pancakes. These are pancakes made from a machine, which I really liked and enjoyed because the dough is soft and fluffy. You can top it with various dried fruits, add butter, and drizzle with honey. Or, if you prefer, you can choose maple syrup.

The cream cheese and various mousses are absolutely delicious.

Next to it is a crepe counter.

Although it may seem like an ordinary dessert, the ingredients prepared for it are extraordinary. Moreover, the chef is cheerful, eager to serve, and very dedicated. Therefore, every dessert before being served from the chef's hands is sprinkled with charm and deliciousness.

Moving on, you'll find the appetizer counter, offering a variety of salads, spicy dishes, and seafood such as shrimp and shellfish, accompanied by delicious dipping sauces. Pizza, bread, and creamy mushroom soup are also available at this station.

Various types of ham, such as "Pla Ma Ham," are incredibly delicious with a perfectly balanced flavor that is not overly salty. They are perfect for casual snacking.

A wide variety of fresh salads

Appetizing salads of various types

Blue Mussel or New Zealand Green-lipped Mussel, large size

Big, easy-to-peel, fresh, sweet prawns! Not shrimp!

At this point, I must mention another must-try menu item: pizza. Yes, the pizza here is delicious. The crust is thin and crispy, not hard. Although the toppings appear thin, the flavors are intense. We happily munched on four slices. My goodness!

Pizza and various breads

In addition to Western cuisine, Thai food is also not to be missed. The fragrant chicken rice at the back is the Thai food counter for single dishes. In addition to chicken rice, it also serves Rad Na and Pad See Ew. I must say that it has been very well received by both foreign and Thai customers, especially the delicious Rad Na. The gravy is well-balanced and has the right consistency. The noodles are not mushy or stuck together too much, and they absorb the gravy well. The pork slices are not too small or too big, and they are just the right size for a bite. The taste is delicious and memorable.

Another dish that I highly recommend is the creamy mushroom soup. This soup may not be familiar to Thai people, as it is not a cream-based soup, but rather a soup that uses mushrooms as the main ingredient. It offers a smooth and delicate texture from the finely blended mushrooms, with a harmonious blend of mushroom and cream aromas. This makes for a truly satisfying and flavorful soup.

Must-try single-dish food counter with delicious flavors

In addition to the delicious food, the Prime Prime restaurant also offers live music for diners to enjoy. A beautiful DJ plays soothing music, making the food even more enjoyable. The music is not too slow or too fast, creating a relaxing atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.

Venturing deeper, you'll encounter the Japanese and hot kitchens. The Japanese kitchen offers a selection of sashimi, including tuna, salmon, and crab sticks. All ingredients are guaranteed fresh and new. The fish boasts a firm texture, vibrant orange and pink hues, and delivers the natural sweetness of fresh seafood. Don't miss the salmon steak and tempura, which are equally unmissable.

Ingredients of Japanese Cuisine

This section features rotating ingredients for the hot kitchen.

Fresh salmon with a vibrant orange color.

Some counter meals are often rotated, not necessarily the same every week. For example, Italian food may change the sauce from carbonara to pesto in some weeks to avoid repetition.

After exploring the area, it's time to eat. Starting with a salad, I chose my favorite vegetables from the wide variety available.

Our crispy bacon, shrimp, and sesame dressing salad is a sight to behold. The vegetables used are all fresh, as evidenced by their crispness. The addition of meat and various types of dressing further enhances the flavor of these crunchy vegetables. The Japanese sesame dressing we chose has a salty and nutty flavor that complements the sweet and savory flavors of the bacon and shrimp. The fact that it is not too salty makes this salad disappear in no time.

The next dish is seafood, which is shrimp and New Zealand mussels. Let me tell you, the seafood dipping sauce is delicious. In addition to dipping it with mussels and shrimp, it is also delicious to dip it with other things or eat it with chicken rice. The New Zealand mussels are just the right size, so they have a sweet and fragrant flesh, unlike the larger ones, which have a rather tough and coarse flesh. The shrimp are steamed to perfection, making them easy to peel and yielding plenty of meat. More importantly, the fat in the shrimp heads is still juicy. Dipping it in the seafood dipping sauce is so delicious!

Sashimi, a Japanese culinary delight

Risotto di Riso: A Culinary Delight

This passage describes a dish called "Risotto di Riso," highlighting its creamy texture and flavorful ingredients. The writer emphasizes the richness of the cream sauce, which permeates the rice and other components without making them heavy. The combination of creamy sauce, succulent shrimp, and tender salmon creates a harmonious symphony of flavors and textures. The writer concludes by expressing their appreciation for this impressive dish.

This dish is just as stylish as any other, and it's not often found on buffet menus. It's Eggs Benedict, a fresh egg poached in hot water with a touch of vinegar to prevent the egg white from becoming tough. It's served on a bed of salmon, ham, or bacon, depending on your preference, and then placed on a soft piece of bread. Before eating, you should pierce the egg to let the yolk flow out, then enjoy it with the various side dishes on the plate. Delicious!

This salmon steak is a signature dish, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients and the chef's unique technique for drawing out the flavors of each component. The result is a dish that truly lives up to its signature status.

**Tender and juicy seared steak, accompanied by rich mushroom sauce and black pepper sauce, paired perfectly with a refreshing sparkling wine.**

These two plates are the past that has passed as fast as lightning.

This special drink for classic lovers is the Bloody Mary, a cocktail brimming with classicism. It offers the taste of fresh, concentrated tomatoes with a hint of spicy black pepper. It pairs well with meat dishes and can help stimulate the appetite. If it's too strong, you can ask the bartender to adjust the sweetness or sourness to your liking, without compromising the classic structure of this drink.

Fun plate, close like.

Let's move on to dessert after the savory dishes. As I mentioned earlier, this dish is a delight to eat and a favorite because pancakes made with a machine are rarely available in lunch buffets. The soft and fragrant pancake dough is delicious with anything, especially when enhanced with dried fruit and ice cream, topped with chocolate sauce. The sweet and sour taste of dried fruit goes well with the sweet and cold ice cream and the soft and smooth texture of the pancake dough. This dish leaves no crumbs behind.

As mentioned earlier, in addition to pancakes, there are also soft crepes sprinkled with sliced almonds, topped with icing sugar, and drizzled with chocolate sauce. The chef's dedication to service and preparation is evident, making this dish a true labor of love, both in its creation and consumption.

A variety of mousses and cream cheeses, all fragrant, delicious, sweet and creamy, with fresh fruits or cookies, various creams complement the flavors to make an impressive taste.

This is my own crepe, made with my own hands.

Sweet and cold ice cream, with a variety of toppings, choose delicious according to my heart's desire.

In addition to seasonal fruits, various types of Thai desserts are also available. Let me tell you, you'll get fat, and then you'll get even fatter. Don't worry, after we've eaten our fill, we'll go burn it off outside. Inside here is a time of fun where you can just grab and eat. Let's have as much fun as we can.
