Hillsboro Escape: Seeking Refuge in the Lush Embrace of Chiang Mai
Since April 18th, I've noticed a significant decrease in my personal time. Each instance of this temporal disappearance seems to have its own justification.
Last week, after feeling physically drained by a mixture of positive and negative experiences, I indulged in extended sleep, which provided some relief but left me wanting more.
The recent rains have transformed Chiang Mai's landscape, turning once-parched hills into verdant havens adorned with new foliage. I witnessed this transformation firsthand during a trip to Chiang Rai. The vibrant greenery and refreshing atmosphere ignited a yearning within me.
"I long to escape," I thought, seeking refuge from the emotional turmoil that weighed heavily upon me.
Hillsboro, nestled in the embrace of Chiang Mai's hills, beckoned as the perfect sanctuary. A place to leave behind the burdens of the world and find solace in nature's gentle embrace.
Hillsborough Chiang Mai: A Peaceful Country House Retreat
Hillsborough Chiang Mai, also known as Hillsborough The English Country House Hotel & Leisure, is a charming retreat designed in the style of an English country house. Nestled amidst serene nature on 1.5 acres of organic farmland and rose gardens, it offers a tranquil escape.
True to its slogan, "The peaceful country house with fresh and natural environment," Hillsborough Chiang Mai boasts stunning views of Doi Suthep-Pui.

Hillsboro Cafe: A Scenic Stop on the Mae Sa Valley Road
Nestled along the scenic Mae Sa Valley Road, Hillsboro Cafe offers a delightful respite for travelers and locals alike. Situated just beyond the popular Baan Dong View Doi, the cafe invites visitors to unwind and savor the breathtaking mountain vistas.
Approaching from the direction of Baan Dong View Doi, Hillsboro Cafe emerges on the right-hand side of the road, sharing an entrance with an international school. With limited parking available directly in front of the cafe, it's recommended to arrive early to secure a spot.
Before reaching the cafe, we had to pass through a garden filled with various plants and English-style accommodation buildings. There were many cute corners to explore. Of course, the garden was full of roses, but I'm confused as to why I only took one picture of a rose (and it was wilted).
The ducks here are often adorned with headscarves, giving them a ladylike appearance.
Behind the cafe, there is a farm with geese
and small ducks, which are sure to excite children.
However, the geese here are a different story. While not aggressive, they are not afraid of humans.
It's best to avoid entering their territory, as they may peck.
Hillsboroungh Cafe' Chiangmai
This charming cafe is nestled within a lush garden, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The verdant surroundings create a serene atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a delicious meal.
Stepping inside, the cafe's cozy interior provides a welcome respite from the scorching sun. The air-conditioned space is tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable and inviting ambiance.

Let's take a look inside the shop ^^

Adorable, sweet, brave, and goofy like the first poster, I was initially at a loss for words, but once I arrived, I decided to join in the fun. Let's go!
Hillsborough Cafe
..For this reason..
This dish feels out of place because there's one hungry person here. 5555
The stir-fried basil here is spicy enough to reach Mars. People who can't handle spice should let the restaurant know.
After eating, it's a good idea to play with the dog before going back. It's not fierce and is familiar with people.
The room rate here is 3500 baht per night. During peak season, the price will increase accordingly. However, if you want to stay here during peak season, the staff at the shop whispered that if you book in advance, you will get the normal price. The owner of the post praised the beautiful exterior, and the interior must be even more beautiful, making it worth the price. You can also stop by for a cup of coffee if you don't stay.
Thank you for visiting.
