Embarking on a Rainy Adventure: Exploring Activities in Pattaya
Our journey from Bangkok to Pattaya was met with persistent rain, falling from morning till dusk. This unexpected downpour prompted us to adapt our plans and seek alternative activities for our trip. Let's delve into the options we discovered.
We indulged in a seafood feast at Pattaya, driving straight to Jeh Juk SeaFood's fourth branch upon arrival.
The menu for this meal includes: Spicy Horseshoe Crab Egg Salad, Garlic Fried Soft-Shell Crab, Stir-Fried Shrimp with Chili, and Spicy Blue Crab Salad. The seafood here is fresh and cooked with the restaurant's own recipe, resulting in a delicious and well-balanced flavor.
After a satisfying meal, we headed to our accommodation, B2 SeaView Pattaya. This budget hotel, situated in Na Jomtien, offered affordable rates. Despite the hotel's name suggesting stunning sea views, our room on the lower floor provided a limited perspective. The ongoing rain further obscured the vista, leaving us with a sense of disappointment. The room itself featured a loft-style design and amenities typical of a budget hotel.
After a long day of rest and relaxation, I decided to take a walk and enjoy the fresh evening air. The rain had stopped, so I headed to Jomtien Beach for a leisurely stroll. The sky was filled with clouds after the rain, but the air was refreshingly cool and perfect for a walk.
Strolling along the beach, snapping photos, it was time for dinner. My partner had booked a buffet at The Big Fish restaurant in the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya. It was another seafood buffet, and I must say, the food was constantly replenished. There was never a shortage of options. I should also mention that they offer a seafood buffet with free-flowing wine. Highly recommended for wine lovers!
Embark on a new day with the radiant glow of the morning sun. Head to Khao Phra Tamnak, where the "Coffee Break" dessert shop offers panoramic views of Pattaya City and the sweeping curves of the coastline. The elevated vantage point provides a breathtaking perspective. While the weather may be slightly warm, indulging in a refreshing dessert at the cafe can provide a welcome respite.
It's time to go home. The trip was fast, but it was fun in its own way. We got to experience sunshine, rain, sitting, lying down, eating, and playing, all in our own style. I have to say that I really enjoy this type of activity because I think it's a true way to relax. If you're looking for a more action-packed trip, stay tuned for other trips that are sure to be fun.
