The Ranong Bus Terminal is located in Bang Rin Subdistrict, Mueang Ranong District, Ranong Province. It has a prominent yellow sign on Phetkasem Road, which is the entrance to the terminal. A black sign reading "Ranong Bus Terminal" is located in front of the bus station. You may notice that this bus station is relatively small compared to other provinces, as Ranong is a small province and has not been able to develop as well as other provinces in southern Thailand.

Ticket Counter

The ticket counter is located at the entrance of the bus station. The most popular bus route is Ranong to Bangkok, with a variety of options available in terms of bus type and schedule. For VIP and VIP 24-seat buses, operators include Chokonan and Neomitr Tour. Overnight buses are available from 8:00 AM and 8:20 PM only. Chokonan Tour offers an express bus service at 8:00 AM in the morning. For other time slots, Alex Tour buses depart at 7:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM, and 7:30 PM. Alex Tour is the most affordable option, as food and drinks are not provided on the bus. Additionally, tourists may not be aware that Alex Tour also offers service from Ranong to Chumphon.

Prayer Room

Across from the ticketing counter, you may find a designated prayer room. This thoughtful provision caters to the significant Muslim population in southern Thailand. These prayer rooms are specifically designed to facilitate their religious observances. Muslim tourists are also welcome to utilize this space for their prayers.


Minimart
The minimart at Ranong Bus Station sells snacks and cold drinks. If you are traveling by Alex Tour minivan or bus, it might be a good idea to stock up on drinks, as there are no snacks or drinks provided during the journey. The guest rooms are located next to the minimart.

Waiting area
The waiting area at the bus stop is open-air. However, the weather in Ranong is pleasant all year round with occasional rain. You can be assured that waiting for the bus will not be a problem. In addition, the benches are comfortable, and you can lie down while waiting for the bus to arrive.



Songthaew
Upon arrival at Ranong Bus Terminal, songthaews (modified pickup trucks) will be readily available to transport you to your desired destination.
