Shortly after, another group of passengers boards the catamaran ferry at Koh Tao's Mae Haad Pier, heading towards Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, or Surat Thani at 9:45 AM. The catamaran ferry then continues its journey to Thong Sala Pier on Koh Phangan.
