Today, I visited Pattaya and enjoyed a luxurious seafood buffet at an incredible price at the "Big Fish" international buffet restaurant in the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya.

Big Fish: A Culinary Gem in Pattaya

Nestled on the 6th floor of the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya, Big Fish offers a tantalizing array of seafood and international cuisine. Its prime location on Pattaya's Second Road, coupled with the hotel's distinctive blue facade, makes it easily identifiable. Convenient parking is available in the adjacent building.

Diners can indulge in a diverse menu, ranging from classic Thai dishes to international favorites. The interior evokes a seaside ambiance with a touch of vintage charm, featuring vibrant lighting and colorful furniture. Live music serenades diners, while an outdoor area offers al fresco dining. Unfortunately, due to the rain, the stunning outdoor views were obscured.

Walking up to the table, there was a romantic candlelit setting, just like a candlelit dinner. We then proceeded to order food. The restaurant offers a buffet option for 700 baht, excluding drinks, and a 900 baht option that includes refillable wine.

The food was beautifully arranged and presented, making it very appealing. The seafood section included a variety of options such as crab, river prawns, mantis shrimp, squid, mussels, salmon, and scallops.

My personal favorite was the fresh and large oysters, which were served with fried shallots and spicy chili sauce.

Fresh meat options include pork, chicken, beef, and lamb shanks. Whether it's fresh meat or seafood, simply choose and place it on a plate, then hand it to the chef. The chef will grill it for you, providing a convenient and comfortable service without the smoky smell of a traditional barbecue.

The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including sushi, salads, ham, bread, fruits, and Thai food. The Thai menu changes weekly, and today's menu features pasta with dried chili, soup, stir-fried vegetables, and pork noodles. Even if the restaurant is packed with customers, there is no need to worry about running out of food, as the staff constantly refills the buffet and provides excellent service.

After enjoying the savory dishes, we moved on to the dessert menu, which featured a wide variety of beautifully presented and tempting cakes. There was a chocolate fondue with marshmallows, which was a real treat. My personal favorite was the homemade vanilla ice cream, which was incredibly smooth, flavorful, and not too sweet. It was absolutely delicious! You can enjoy it on its own, or pair it with the freshly made hot crêpes prepared by the staff. Alternatively, you can also have the ice cream with fresh fruit, which is another great option.

In addition to the extensive food selection, the establishment also boasts a well-stocked bar counter, offering a wide variety of beverages to satisfy diverse preferences.

Overall, I was very impressed. This concludes my review. Don't miss the next trip!
