Kaeng Krachan National Park, located in Phetchaburi Province, is a short drive from Bangkok and offers a perfect getaway for those seeking relaxation during the holidays. While the rainy season may bring some uncertainty regarding rainfall, the cooler temperatures provide a welcome respite from the heat. For those who don't mind the rain, a visit to Kaeng Krachan is highly recommended.

"Bamboo Riverside House" Resort in Kaeng Krachan

This resort, located on the banks of the Phetchaburi River in Kaeng Krachan, offers individual houses perfect for families, friends, or party groups. This particular house has 6 bedrooms, each accommodating 4 people for 1600 baht per night. Additional guests can be accommodated with extra beds for 300 baht per person.

The path leading down from our house is the spot where we go swimming.

The left-hand room serves as the resort's office and shop. Guests can inquire about activities or order food there.

Food and beverages from outside the resort are not allowed. However, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy at your accommodation.

This is the breakfast area. It costs 100 baht per person. Groups can contact us to arrange activities here.

We're going to play in the water. Are you ready? You need to wear a life jacket. The cost to play in the water is 30 baht per person, including a life jacket.

This is the designated area for whitewater rafting. A private raft can accommodate up to 10 people for 1300 baht.

It was drizzling when we arrived. The water here has a smell, but it's not dirty. The water in the reservoir is clear and suitable for swimming.

At this pier, there are large trees where you can jump into the water to play, or you can relax on the floating seats.

The current here is very strong. We secretly jumped into the water from the resort next door and drifted down. It was fun.

You can also soak your feet in the water while enjoying the scenic view. It's very relaxing.

Embark on a thrilling whitewater rafting adventure with your friends, navigating the rapids for approximately one hour. Afterwards, a convenient shuttle service will transport you to the resort.

Tonight's dinner is a barbecue party. We can sing karaoke and relax. Please note that we will bring our own sound system, speakers, and microphones. However, there will be additional charges: 200 baht for electricity and 500 baht for a barbecue grill and tableware.

After waking up, we went to admire the view at Kaeng Krachan Dam. If you want to climb Khao Phanein Thung, the resort offers a car ride for 2,000 baht, but you have to wake up very early. We didn't wake up, so we came here instead.
