Hello everyone, STOP ME today, I would like to take my friends back in time. We will visit the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Exhibition Hall to learn about history and travel back in time.
Tripitaka Cabinet
Upon entering the room, our eyes are immediately drawn to the **Tripitaka Cabinet** standing prominently in the center. To the right are various souvenirs for tourists to browse and purchase.
Portrait 1
Royal Portrait 2
This section displays portraits of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), showcasing his personal life, achievements, and diplomatic relations with other countries.
The Story
The museum also showcases a book drop box, known as the first mailbox in Thailand, a telegraph box, used for communication in the past, and a 20 baht banknote, a design used in earlier times.
Architectural Models
Another exciting part of our exhibition will be the display of architectural models that were influenced by Western styles, blended with Thai elements, creating unique and renowned structures during that era.
Abolition of Slavery
The exhibit that impressed us the most was the display on the abolition of slavery through photographs hung throughout the room. Just standing there, we were moved to tears, deeply appreciating the boundless royal grace.
