Who would have thought that Nakhon Nayok would have the coolest place that would allow us to easily enter the forest when we feel tired, plus it's close to Bangkok and affordable? That is the Khao Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam Waterfall Trail.

Most people who visit the Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam have probably already taken photos on the dam crest or enjoyed the scenic views from the tram. However, few people know that there is another attraction: a boat trip into the dam to follow the trail of the three waterfalls that are the source of the dam's water. The boat trip costs 1,000 baht for 1-5 people or 200 baht per person for 6-10 people. You can contact the boat service unit, located on the left-hand side of the car park, to book your trip. Once you have made your booking, you can board the boat.



Preparation for a waterfall hike

- It is highly recommended to wear waterproof and non-slip shoes, as some sections may require climbing over rocks.

  • If you want to play in the water, prepare a change of clothes.

The first point of arrival was the Phang Nga Rung Waterfall.


The path has a 6-degree incline but is easy to walk on and not very slippery.



The peak of Phang Nga Rung Waterfall. I give this place a perfect 10 for its waterfall. It's incredibly beautiful and somewhat resembles a smaller version of Thi Lo Su.

Second, Khlong Kram Waterfall.


This point is a path along the mountainside with a green meadow.

A stream of water flows through the crevices of the rocks.

The journey offers numerous picturesque spots for capturing memories.

Khlong Kram Waterfall, 9/10. The scenery along the way is beautiful. The waterfall itself, I think the first one is more beautiful.

The third point is **Namtok Chong Lom**.

The distance is quite far compared to the previous 2 waterfalls.


Upon disembarking from the vessel, it was as if we had entered another world, one of unparalleled beauty.

Follow the shoulder of the mountain and walk straight in.



Cross the bamboo bridge and wooden raft.



We have arrived at Chong Lom Waterfall. The overall experience is a perfect 10. The views, the walking paths, and the waterfall itself are all stunning.
