Our first check-in point is Khrua Pu Yai Joy Seafood Restaurant in Khlong Kon.

Point 2 is Buffalo Amphawa.

The third stop is Bangkok Tree House in Bang Nam Phueng.

We started our journey around 8:30 am, aiming to arrive at Krua Pu Yai Joy restaurant around 11 am to avoid the crowds. We simply set our GPS and drove there.

5. Stir-fried cockles (edible, but not as spicy as the Red Restaurant at Don Hoi Lod).

6. Crab fried rice (small plate 50 baht, but I was impressed. It was a large portion and delicious).

  1. One bottle of plain water, one bucket of ice, and one large bottle of soda.

The total cost of the food was approximately 1,700 baht (we had to take some home because we couldn't finish it all).

Seafood Feast at Krua Pu Yai Joy, Khlong Kon

In our opinion, Krua Pu Yai Joy Seafood Restaurant in Khlong Kon is a great choice for a delicious seafood meal. If you're looking for a place to enjoy crab roe, this restaurant should be at the top of your list, alongside Mae Klong Head Fish Hotpot. While they don't offer whole steamed blue crabs, they do have a variety of other crab dishes available.

One thing to note is that they don't accept credit card payments, but they do accept bank transfers.

Relaxing Afternoon at Buffalo Amphawa

After lunch, we headed to Buffalo Amphawa for some relaxation. The drive was short, taking only about 25 minutes.

This will be divided into 4 sections:

  1. Accommodation
  2. Restaurant
  3. Cafe
  4. Krating-Kala (buffalo) area

Our first stop is to play with the adorable buffaloes, Khati and Kala. Khati is a white dwarf buffalo, while Kala is a regular black dwarf buffalo. The owner of this place is a huge fan of buffaloes, and the design and decoration here heavily feature woven wood, which is truly beautiful.

Across the street, there is a riverside cafe with open-air seating and a beautiful design.





We left the buffalo farm around 3:30 PM to visit Bang Krachao.

Our final destination for the day was Bangkok Tree House in Bang Nam Phueng.

To get there, we set our GPS and parked our car near Wat Na Tha. Then, we walked for about 300 meters.


Follow the signs and you'll be there in no time. However, it's a shame that the restaurant is closed to non-guests. (The restaurant closes to outside guests at 5:00 PM.) But don't worry, the restaurant next door, "Pob Rak," is open until 10:00 PM. We can go there instead.

The "Love Rendezvous" restaurant is a popular filming location for many dramas. The food is delicious but be prepared for a long wait, so patience is key! If you're famished, it might be best to choose another restaurant. In addition to dining, the establishment also offers accommodation with 5-6 rooms available. Prices range from 1,500 to 3,000 baht, and weekends are typically fully booked.


The one-day trip was over. We left Bang Krachao around 10 pm. It wasn't scary to walk around, there were a lot of people. If you want to go cycling or walk around Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market but have limited time like us, you can come here. It's very convenient.
