Next to the red building, we crossed the Taksin Bridge again, but this time we stopped at the viewpoint in the middle of the Taksin Maharat Bridge. The Taksin Maharat Bridge, or Laem Sing Bridge, is a bridge that crosses the mouth of the Chanthaburi River in Laem Sing District, connecting Pak Nam Laem Sing Subdistrict and Bang Kacha Subdistrict on the opposite side. It is the longest bridge in the eastern region, with a length of 1,060 meters.

The Department of Rural Roads has constructed a bridge across the Chanthaburi River at the mouth of the Laem Sing District to support and promote tourism potential, increase agricultural product transportation routes, and reduce travel time for people in Laem Sing, Tha Mai, Mueang, and Na Yai Am districts. This allows them to travel along the coast by car without having to take long detours as they did in the past.

The bridge was completed and Chanthaburi Province held a ceremony to officially open the new bridge to the public on May 2, 2008. The Minister of Transport presided over the opening ceremony. The bridge is 1,060 meters long and cost 179,570,000 baht to build.

The Taksin Maharat Bridge (Laem Sing Bridge) is part of the **"Chaloem Burapha Chonlathit Road"**, the longest and most beautiful coastal tourist road in the eastern region. It connects various beaches and major seaside tourist attractions in Chanthaburi Province, offering stunning scenery and viewpoints.

At Taksin Maharat Bridge (Laem Sing Bridge), there is a beautiful view of the local fishing community stretching along the coast of the mouth of the Chanthaburi River. It is one of the most beautiful sunset viewing points in Chanthaburi and is also a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts.

Khao Laem Sing Temple

This is a direct translation of the Thai phrase "วัดเขาแหลมสิงห์" which refers to a specific temple in Thailand.

Many cars also stopped to enjoy the view at the same spot as us. This is even on a weekday. On this bridge, selling is prohibited, but there are still some villagers who ride motorcycles to ask to sell dried food and souvenirs. Getting off the Taksin Bridge, on the left hand side, the white church is Wat Khao Laem Singh, and we are going to visit and pay respects to the Buddha in the church.

Temple of Khao Laem Sing

Khao Laem Sing Temple is located in Bang Kachao district. It features a prominent white chapel visible from Taksin Bridge. Inside the chapel, the revered Buddha statue, Luang Pho Kaew Sarapat Nuk, resides.

The Ten Jataka Murals

The Ten Jataka Murals are a series of paintings depicting the ten previous lives of the Buddha. They are found in many Buddhist temples and monasteries throughout Thailand. The murals are typically painted on the walls of the temple's ordination hall or viharn.

The Ten Jataka stories are based on the Jataka tales, a collection of stories about the Buddha's previous lives. The stories teach important Buddhist values such as compassion, generosity, and wisdom.

The Ten Jataka Murals are a popular tourist destination in Thailand. They are also an important part of Thai culture and history.

Taksin Maharat Bridge

Adjacent to Khao Laem Sing Temple, the Khao Laem Sing Shrine is situated on the curve of the bay. During our visit, the water level was relatively low, attracting local residents and anglers who were fishing in the area, known for its abundance of fish.

Shrine of Laem Sing

Located at the foot of a mountain, this area is home to a large population of monkeys. So many, in fact, that the shrine has had to be closed to prevent them from entering and causing damage.

Those who wish to pay respects to the statue can open the door by removing the wire that binds it. However, please ensure you reattach the wire before leaving, or you may face the wrath of the monkeys.

Wooden sculptures of deities in the shrine

This could be a Thai-style deity.
